A Kiss at Sunset [BL Academy Book 1]

Chapter 1: The Plan

 Light sat up aburtly in be.d He wase almost late to school! He ran downstairs and grabbed a piece of taost, like all anime protagionists do when they're late to school. He was running to school when he almost choked on his toast. It would be a shame is that happened because he is our main character, but hundreds of people would have been saved if he died that dya.

"I'm glad you could make it today, LIght Yagami,' his teache,r Mr. Teacher, greeted him as he raninto the classroom right as the bell rang. Light took his seat by the window and moved it over to the venter of the room because he has to be the center of attention 24/7. Light attended the most prestegious all-boys school in the world, the famous BL academy. NO one at BL academcy was sure why it was called BL Academy, the headmaster assured everything that it did not stadn for Boys Love. But LIght knew the taste of a liar when he smelt it, plus it could not have been mrere coincidence that all ofthe students were homosecual. LIght's eyes wandered around the room, it was th elast day of school before spring break. He couldnt focus on the lecture, not when he had an entire week to do whatever he wanted to d. He didn't know precisely what he was going to do over his brea, but itw as going to be prolific.

Before he new it, the lunch bell rang. Light packed up his things to prepare to head down to the lunch hall when th e class preisdent and class vice preisdent stopped him in the hallway.

"Helllooooo Liiiiight," Sakuya Mitsurugi, the class president, chimed in with a smile, "guess what I have concocted!!!" Light was terrified- in all hoensty, Sakuya terrified him. Out of all the boys of BL academy, Sakuya was deemed to be the most perfect of them all. With his long purple hair and elegant chin, anyone would commit mass murder ot look like hikm.

"We concocted," corrected the vice presiednt, Hitoshi-san. HE ended his debute sentence with a signature, "nyaa.... rawr." Hitoshi-san was the second most handosme studient, unfortaly he already had a boyfriend and the two of them enjoyed singing mid-200's pop songs ogether. Many a backtreet BOy s song played in Hisothisan's head when he though t of his boufriend. ,

"Riiiight!! My mistake darling" Sakuya said with a cheerful grin, "Well Light??"

"Whatever you two have planned i have no part of," Light replied as he tried to walk past the two.

"Well~~~ I decided I was bored and I am super rich from my record labels, so I paid ofr a trip to France over the break!!" Sakuya said as streamers and a disco ball came down from the ceiling. A team of backup dancers emerged from the depths of the neightboring classrooms as they started to dance to one of the covers Hitoshi-san and his boyfriend made.

"Its going to be so romantic. Nya. Rawr." Histoshi-san ssaid with a smirk. COuld they know? THey couldnt knw- Light was very careful to cover up all evidence of his secret. Sakuya leaned in close to Light's ear and whispered to him.

"If you aren't at the airport tomorrow morning i won't hesitate to tell everyone of yur secret~~~" he whispered with a devilish grin. Light mentally smacked himself, he shouldve known that these two were bettwe at figuring out potential romances than a couple of fanfiction obsessed otakus... which they were.

"I'll be there, just don't tell anyone," Light said with a sigh.

"Perfect!!!" Sakuya said as he ran off with Hitoshi-san to join the backup dancers in a tango line in the science lab. A fire broke out in the science lab shortly thereafter, but LIght couldn't be bothered to help with it. He had to figure out what his next move was to make sure that he did nothing suspicious on his impromtu trip to France.
