Madison's P.O.V
There we were, just sitting in my living after having just fininsed solving "The Case of the Missing Diamond". We should have been celebrating our victory. I mean come on we had just caught a killer and a theif. For some reason we couldn't bring ourselves to be happy. Maybe it was the fact someone was dead or maybe it was just the pure horror we now had nothing to spent our free time doing.
"What do we do now?" asked Avery slightly disappointed we had solved the case so quickly. Lets talk about Avery for a second. Let's see were should I start. She is one of my best friends, an amazing investigator, great at coming up with a plan on the spot, and she carries just the right amount of attitude to get things done. I don't know where I would be without her.
"Stop the complaining. I'm sure another case will pop up soon." Alanna replied annoyed at the emotions being displayed in the room. It all felt very depressing to her. I think I have known Alanna since we were toddlers. We didn't get along very well when we were younger, but now that we were teenagers I like to believe we are pretty close.
"Oh Gosh! Please don't be another dead body!" exclaimed Latrell. Umm... Latrell lets see we don't really know much about. She is a new addition to our team. She is kind of quiet and reserved. The shy type, but she gets the job done.
"Stop being so dramatic guys." I replied.
"As if you have room to talk." Avery sassed back.
"She has a piont Madison" Avery's twin sister Jordyn replied. Jordyn usually doesn't say anything at all in our arguments. She very quiet much like Latrell. She prefers to silently observe her surroundings. In doing this she notices things most of us over look, and is good at reading body language. On top of all of this she has the memory of an elephant and often remembers stuff we don't. Which is very helpful when solving cases.
"I wish Madi was here. First she misses an entire case, and now she's not here to back me up from being attacked by you Heathens." I commented missing my best friend of all time. Madi is like a sister to me and kind of the peace keeper of the group. Without her we would have fallen apart by now.
"Wow! Can we please stop arguing? Madi would not appreciate ya'lls poor behaviours. So I'm not going to either." sassed Alanna being fed up with the insults.
"Yeah. Yeah, whatever." Avery replied. Jordyn going back to her original quiet state.
"Lets stop being bummers. I have an idea how about we have a pizza party to celebrate or victory in solving the case?" I asked hoping they all say yes to my suggestion.
"Ohhh great idea!" yelled Latrell all the sudden getting really excited.
"I think that is the loudest you have ever been." Avery replied sarcastically.
"Way to be sarcastic, Avery." I fired back extremely annoyed.
"Okay. How are ya'll friends? All you two do is fight." Alanna shot at us making the situation worse and leaving us slightly offended.
"Rude!" Avery said as the same time as me. We then high fived at the timing.
"Can we please just order the pizza?" Jordyn asked in an innocent voice trying to deflate the argument to be not make it worse.
"Yeah, okay I am kinda hungry." I agreed to Jordyn's request and went to dial the pizza place.
