There just wasn't winning with these two.
Sure, they were annoying but Aleisha loved these crackheads to death.

After History class,Paxton had to go to his soccer coach for some reason and he just gave Aleisha his number and asked her to text him the details of where and when to meet up.

Aleisha was glad they didn't have to converse much because honestly talking to Paxton was nerve wracking.

When she got home that day she had a bright smile on her face.
So much that she wasn't disappointed when she saw that her parents wouldn't be home till late at night.

She hated being alone in her house and that was one of the reasons why she was so studious.
Aleisha's biggest fear in life was losing someone she loved or being alone.
Her books kept her company and distracted her whenever her parents were away or just too busy.

Being in an Indian household was difficult.
Aleisha's mom and dad were very strict when they were there and this often lead to a lot of arguments in the house.Her dad and mom would team up and by the time Aleisha swallows her pride and decides to apologise, they would be away on their medical trips or busy with their shifts.

Another thing with her parents was that she couldn't say the things she wanted to say. She couldn't discuss about her friends or love life cause she know that it would be brought up during an arguement and she would be grounded.

This was why she started crushing Paxton.

She needed a distraction from her boring life.
Something to look forward to even though he had no idea she existed.

Look on the bright side, Aleisha.

Yeah as the clumsy girl who bumped into him and dropped all her books.

Maybe the reason her life sucked so much was because she didn't do anything?

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid would have never happened untill Gigi told zayn he was cute right ? Gigi even confessed on The Ellen Show.
