Time. It seems like I don't have enough of it. All I do is school, work, and study. I have no time for friends or for myself, not even for my family. It's like I am stuck in a world where it's just to go to school and become successful and make tons of money. Oh wait I am. That's society, you can't do anything about it. Although, it does pay off in the end. I'll be able to get a nice job, a nice car and house.

As I think to myself I seem to be loosing track of time. Funny, I usually don't have time. I grab my backpack and my car keys and drive to school. I love the California weather. Especially in the spring time, where it's nice and windy but not to windy to be wearing jeans and sweatshirts. As I pull into the parking lot and park my car, I see my friend Ivy pull her car in right next to mine.

"Girl hey! What's up?" Ivy said, she's always is in a good mood and she's never stressed. It's like shes not even worried if she gets a nice job or anything. She just lives now, in the moment.

"Haha, hey Ivy, nothing much just about to go to class, how about you?" I say seeming really tired and lazy compaired to her.

"Girl, I am too, 'bout to go get that edumacation!" She says.

"Good, you go get that edumacation?" I was confused on why she said 'edumacation' but that's her.

"It's the new slang for education sweetie." She says then we both start laughing.

"I highly doubt it but ok, what ever floats your boat my friend." I say. We both start walking towards our classes, Ivy is trying to become an artist, well I dont know what specifc artist because she never told me and I never really cared to ask.

"How are yoour classes going?" I ask her.

"They are going great! How about you?" She says.

"They are going good, it's alot of work, but if it can get me where I want to be in life than it's worth missing out on actual college life." We then say our good byes and go to our classes.

I walk in to the class room which is farely hudge and there are tons of people already taking their seats and are completely ready for our lecture today. I'm not ready at all.

"Ok class, settle down and take your seats the lecture is about to begin." I pull out my Macbook and pull up my notes. Sometimes I wish I was back in high school where the teacher tells us what to put on our notes, but that was 4 years ago. This is college, we are getting closer to the real world.

The professor started the lecture so I had to push my thoughts away and focus.
