He held my hand

I woke up only wearing my boxer shorts, I tried to move but my head is still aching, I touched the bed and saw Marie lying down beside me.

"Fuck, what happened?" I asked and stood up.

" We had fun last night, the way you moan, it feels like you were longing for this for so many years, I still love how you kiss me back, your lips are still that soft, your body is still looking for mine," Marie said as she stood up, she was only wearing her underwear.

"Dress up," I shouted and throw her clothes to her.

" Why? You don't like me seeing naked?" She asked as she crawled going to my direction. "Another round?" She added.

"No, Marie, we are over, what happened to us last night is just a mistake, you drugged me, you all played me, I never thought that you can do this to me," I said and took my clothes from the floor.

"Hey, Ali, wait, I'm sorry," She apologised.

"Save that sorry, I've been forgiving you for so many times, I've been stupid for so many years, I've wasted my life for you, but what did you do? You played around my feelings, you used me, I'm already immuned with your lies, right now, I don't know if I'll believe you, so please stay away from me, stay away from my sight," I shouted and left her.

After changing, I run out of the house and rode a taxi. I don't know what happened but I think I lost myself, I stopped near the bridge and was about to jump when someone pulled my hand.

My eyes began to water when I see him, his eyes were narrowed while staring at me.

"What do you think you are doing?" Lee asked.

I don't know what but I just kneeled in front of him and cried. Lee saw my good side now he's seeing my weakest sides.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for doing this to you, I'm sorry I needed to fool myself just to escape this damn feeling I have for you, Lee, I can no longer hide it, I am the real Ali, I am the one you met, I am the one inside your heart, I am Ali, can I ask for your hand for the last time? Now I am strong enough to face us, to face the world, to be with you, I know you will help me more. Can I be your sun again? Your sun that will make your day brighter?"I asked.

I'm waiting for his response.

" No, you are not Ali, Ali never showed this to me, my man is strong," He said and walked past me.

I tried to follow him but he immediately vanished. It was just an imagination.

I cried, the rain started pouring down as well. It feels like the sky knows how sad and down I am, now I know why people tend to cry when they are sad. People are just like the sky, when they feel tired, down and felt like they were alone, the rain will start pouring, but the difference is that when the rain stopped rainbow will begin to show, a sign of a new beginning, but for me, there's no rainbow after the rain. My heart cried hundreds of buckets now and still no rainbows showing.

I wiped my eyes and held the iron bar. I was about to jump when someone shouted.

I shook my head, I know this is just an imagination. He can never like me back just like how he used to.

"I love you, Lee," I said.

I stood up in the iron bars and ready to jump when a hand grabbed me and hugged me.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Lee's voice echoed inside my mind.

I faced him and his still hugging me from the back.

"Am I still imagining?" I asked.

"No, Ali, this is Lee, I'm sorry if you needed to feel this one, I'm sorry I pretended like I was sick, I thought that once I pretended I can get over with you, but no, the more I don't feel and see your presence the more I am missing you," He said crying.

I focused on his face. I faced him and he buried his face on my chest.

" You are not the only one who is hurting, I am hurting as well, I love you and I'm sorry, " Please don't do that to me. Don't kill yourself for me," He added.

I rubbed his head, he faced me, I smiled.

" I'm sorry if you needed to feel that too, I love you, I missed you so much," he said and kissed me.

This was the kiss I've been longing for, I know I have kissed so many women from the past and this is the only kiss that satisfies me. Lee's soft and tender Lips made me believe that love has no boundaries.

Lee kissed me back,  in that position when our friends came clapping their hands.

"Now, you finally found your weakness and strengths, don't you?" Giner said.

We broke our kisses.

"Thank you," I whispered.

She winked at me.

I am happy, I am proud. Now I can shout that whatever happens, as long as you trust yourself you will never be alone. I learned to accept myself and I am happy that Lee helped me to realize it.

We walked holding each other's hands tightly.

The pain that I was feeling earlier was now turning into happiness. Love is so unpredictable, it will come in your life in an unexpected time, its either it will teach you a lesson or it will hurt you, the important thing is that you learned your lessons and gained strength on that.

I will never let go of this hands again. I will never make this guy cry again. He saved me from my dark past now I am ready to save him.

My past never defined my present and will never define me as a person.
