This is what Yunho had been gearing up for ever since he arrived on Earth yet he felt nowhere near prepared. He was wounded in both body and spirit but knew he couldn't spare a single second to heal. Park Seonghwa was well known not only in Hell, but Heaven as well. He had nearly harmed an archangel, after all, that tends to spread very quickly. When Yunho was assigned to him it was with the expectation that he had mellowed out after several years with his family. That meant nothing now that the Blood Moon had arrived.
Unlike the rest of the city, the air around its centre was pitch black, with thick layers of dark fog coating the angel's vision. There was only one place Seonghwa could be, and it was in there. Yunho was well aware that he couldn't rely on his previous tactics for this one. Talking would be no good with someone notorious for ignoring the advice of those who knew better, and drawing out his insecurities would be a challenge only those with the highest skill of the mind knew how to handle.
Yunho gazed up at the tallest building in the city where the source of the shadows was. He felt a pit in his stomach, knowing there was a chance he may not make it out of this alive. Thankfully, there was someone here who was keen to make sure he did. "If things get too heavy, just call me and I'll be there in less than a second," Hongjoong informed him.
"Hyung..." Muttered the angel. "Can you do something for me?" Hongjoong hummed at him. "I need you to tell Mingi something. If I don't make it out alive, tell him-"
Hongjoong shushed him before he could finish. "Don't say that," He said. "I won't need to tell Mingi anything because you're going to live to see another day. Alright?" The calm tone of his voice managed to soothe the angel's nerves ever so slightly, but it didn't last long.
"I'll tell you this though," The demon continued. "He isn't alone up there. Don't try to fight off more than you can handle." He knew Seonghwa wouldn't kill an angel who had done nothing wrong, but both Hongjoong and Yunho understood that reason was the last thing on anyone's mind right about now - Today may just be the exception.
Taking one last breath, Yunho flew towards the middle of the city. Lakes of acid littered the ground as imps and demons danced around the area's it didn't touch. Everything was nearly impossible to see, with the only real sources of light coming from the acid-filled lakes, demolished street lights or Yunho himself. He was disturbed by what he saw, to say the least. He would need to be quick about this if he wasn't to draw too much attention to himself. So the angel spiralled around the tallest building in sight, avoiding anyone who wasn't Seonghwa at all costs.
"It's fun, isn't it?" Jinyoung chuckled as he ran his finger across Seonghwa's shoulder. The younger demon smirked and even leaned into his touch. The older grinned at the way he purred while he stroked his soft face,
"Indeed. I can't believe how much I've been missing out on." He replied with a laugh. His eyes were completely blacked out, with dark trails flowing from them. Seonghwa felt a sense of relief that he had been missing ever since he left Hell. He let his powers do what they liked as he watched the world around him bend to his will. What could be any more enjoyable?
"Let's play a little game," He suggested with a smirk. Intrigued, Jinyoung glanced down at him. "Let's see who can take over the most minds in the shortest amount of time?" Jinyoung soon matched his expression and accepted the challenge.
"Bonus: Whoever wins gets to take their souls." Seonghwa continued to grin at him then focussed his mind on the human's down below. Both he and Jinyoung sensed as many as they could then soon began encasing their mind's in darkness. Screams of terror filled their heads but it only fueled their desire to keep going.
