"the saddest pair of eyes that you've ever seen", i've been told they belong to me.
do i believe them?
take a look, eye to eye, what do you think my darling?
am i supposed to be holding these drops of liquid grief?
or should they stain my cheeks once again; a fine needle etching my skin with the tears of a broken soul.
just cut me down, i don't deserve to rise once more,
for i shall fall again in time.
i prefer to be shattered,
laying in a sprawl of pieces of a wrecked girl; it's comfortable.
it feels like home.
