CHAPTER 2: heart & banana

It's been a day since Chan and i broke up. I tried not to think of it. But i'm seeing him in every corner of my room. Like we always cuddle, movie maratons, late night talks, playing pranks at each other and more. But now, it was just a memory.

I never felt this how pain was really really hurts. I am now alone and lonely. He's the only person that i have and now, he's gone.

But it is right because i rather die than to be with a cheater like him.

"I rather be blind than to see him happy with his new girl. I don't wanna see him." I whispered, while drinking another shot of soju.

"Careful with your words, Ms. Heart." I read at his or her memo on the phone.

I met this person earlier. He or She was sitting there all alone. By the way, i haven't saw his or her face because he or she wears a smilling big banana mascot covered his or her whole body. This person probably a disable person who can't talk, but can understand what i'm talking about.

"Drinking is not the solution to every problem. It just make worst. Yeah, you can forgot your problem with that. But it's temporary only. Soon, after you wake up, you'll feel the pain again. Plus a terrible hang over and a headache. See? Triple pain."

That's kinda deep, huh?

"I just want to erase this pain in my heart." I whispered. Oh no, i'm crying again. Ugh, i hate it.

"Wanna know what i do if i'm sad?"

"What?"

"I'll just scream it out of my lungs then i'll be good. Sometimes, we have to let go that painful and heavy feeling on our heart so that it could be easy to breath. It could be a light-feather feeling."

Luh. How can this person scream if we're having a conversation thru the phone's memo pad?

"I have a question. Why are you wearing a giant banana mascot?"

He or she quickly typed on the phone's memo pad. Then he or she gave it to me. I slowly read it and that made me whoa.

"Because banana is the only fruit that has a heart. The others were heartless ㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

Seriously, this banana person is actually funny. This person made me smile, enough for me to ease this heavy feeling on my chest.

"Banana's have hearts? I haven't knew that." He or she nod repeatedly and clapped.

He or she once again typed to the phone's memo pad. I think it's quite long...?

"Didn't you notice? I'm a banana and you're a heart. You completed me~ it's like you're the missing piece on my puzzle. I guess you're my soulmate haha."

"Me? Your soulmate? But we've just met earlier and i don't know if you're a girl or a boy. You're too fast huh. Also, you're so corny!"

"Just kidding Ms. Heart. Atleast i made you smile and laugh a bit."

"Yeah. Thank you for that. Anyways, i have to go now. It's pretty late and i still have a job tomorrow. Thank you for the accompany. I appreciate it, Banana." I paid the beer i've drinked and i bid my good-bye to the banana person. "See you around."

I'm not that drunk yet so i can manage to go home. It was just few few blocks away from my home.

Strange because my surroundings are starting to get blurred. I don't know if it was the effect of the beer or so what. My head is also spinning like a wheel.

I closed my eyes and i felt the cold pavement on my cheeks. Eveything went all dark.
