For the last 3 nights I have had the same dream. It starts out at school just a normal day, except one thing, I'm with a girl. She is about my height, blonde hair, brown eyes, southern accent, and beautiful smile. I guess she's my girlfriend but I can't remember when I wake up. When I wake up I forget her name and her face, just little details stick.

Anyway, on to the dream. It's a normal day at school, its Friday, everyone's talking about their plans for the weekend, going to beach, hunting, fishing, camping, paintball, airsoft, etc.. The girl and l are gonna be camping on the back of my lot and going to the carnival, nice romantic weekend.

We get to my place and set up; once we set up we hear some rustling in the woods behind us.  When I went to check it out I saw two males running away, an overweight black guy and an average size white guy. I couldn't tell who they were from behind but the white guy went to my school. I'm sure about that part because of his uniform. And the way the black guy was built was kinda familiar, like an old neighbor who had a bad reputation with the cops.

When I went back the girl asked what it was, I didn't want to ruin our weekend so I decided to tell her it was just a squirrel and a rabbit. She gave me a funny look, like she wasn't sure if I was telling the truth or not, but didn't question me. We went back to the house to get a few more supplies and our clothes. I got something in a little red velvet box but never got to open it, I guess it was ring. I'm 18 and about to graduate in a few weeks, am I going to propose to this girl?

For some reason I grabbed a bit of scrap metal, like I'm going to work this weekend, one thing I got is an old broken t-post, I can’t make anything out of this, why would I grab it? When we get to our campsite it's different, our tent is open and our sleeping bags out in the open. We’re confused but then we start hearing voices, familiar voices, I knew both of them all too well, Cory Smith and Branden Cambell. We couldn’t tell where the voices were coming from until Cory and Branden came out of our tent. Neither of us knew what they wanted but I had a feeling they hadn't stopped by just to chat. See, I got Cory arrested, and Branden and I hadn't gotten along since my freshman year.

For some reason they wanted to get even on this particular weekend. I hadn't realized they had machetes on their sides until they took them out and came at me. That's when I realized why I had gotten the t-post, protection. I started fighting Branden first and that didn’t last long because he was predictable on how he was gonna fight. I knocked his machete out of his hand and started fighting Cory. He was a little harder to predict, because he would switch how he would fight. He didn't give up as easily as Branden had; in fact I realized the only way to save myself was to kill him. After another 5 minutes I saw my opening and jabbed, it went straight through and got stuck. When I faced Branden I saw that he had not found his machete and had decided to fight with his hands, which was fine by me.

During the fight I was vaguely aware of the girl calling 911. It was over in a matter of minutes but it felt like hours. I was tired, bleeding, and about to collapse, thankfully Branden was too. After a while he took a wild, but weak, swing. I saw a chance to end it, and took it. I grabbed his arm and spun him around and forced him to his knees. He told me the only way to save her was to kill him. I asked him what he meant but he just kept repeating himself. I was forced to kill him, because I couldn't risk losing her. I snapped his neck and pushed him into the creek bed then did the same to Cory.

That's where I always wake up, I turn and look at the girl and she screams and points behind me and I wake up.
