After your last encounter, you were determined to make it to your destination without any other interruptions. Since your world was ravaged and ruined from some kind of plague that turned people into furries, and found out you were immune,  you have made your way through the state on foot to reach a lab in hope you can make a cure.

So far, it hasn't been so bad. you were already so close to the lab, you could see it! Well the halfway one at least. After this one was the lab you were headed too, but that didnt mean you couldn't stop to look. After some walking, you noticed a strange structure you hadn't seen here before... it looked like a pillar of vines and rubble.

Upon closer inspection, you found you recognized this monument as the 'Limelight Well'. It was an old and shoddy hole in the ground with stone siding that used to supply water to the old town. You and your grandparents would come here to toss a coin inside, and you would look down it's endless abyss as they told you stories. It was a popular place because anyone who made a wish for fame or glory was noticed. Ancient heroes would toss gold in it as a blessing for their battles to help them win, or so they say. Other rumors say that it is endless, Some speculating that it has always been there. It was all kind of mumbo-Jumbo to you, but it was fun to ponder sometimes.

You removed some of the vines on it, creating an opening on one side. Then you leaned down and looked down the darkness. Still the same as it was, and maybe twice as gloomy. You were about to get up before you felt the stone begin to shift violently before it fell, you with it.

The last thing you remember feeling, is you head hitting a stone wall as you fell.

...

You woke up some time later, next to some patch of grass and inside a stone ridden stream. Your pants were soaked, which you took as a sign to how long you had been there. You stood up, rubbing your sore head to notice that strangely enough your backpack not with you. you looked around but could not find it. The only thing you thought of to do was to find a way to progress, but there was no opening or way to go from the small room you were in. You pondered in slight despair until you noticed a wall of a notably more shoddy make to the rest of the room.

With enough persistence, you manage to loose a few stones. After that, the rest came off rather easy, revealing a walkway of sorts. Without much hesitation, you went through and discovered another wall. this one was flat and looked sturdy, so no breaking this one...

With a defeated sigh, you lean against it, hoping that something would happen. Strangly enough it did. The wall you were leaning on opened like a door, you falling as it opened and hitting your head again. You rubbed it as you viewed the new cave you were in...

Or not.

It looked like an old cave, except for the floor outside of it looking a lot more modern, with a pedestal sitting close to you. You hopped over some rope and looked at the pedestal, which read:

"Ancient Drawings Exhibit.  Dated 302 B.C.E"

You looked at the cave wall in front of you, and it was indeed covered in archaic scribbling. When you looked behind you, it suddenly clicked.

You were in a museum.

You walked around the area, happy you were not trapped in a cave anymore. After ascending some stairs you found, you discovered it was not some ordinary museum. There were rabbits with sabre tooth teeth with spears, a Poseidon that resembled an elephant and a whole lot of other exhibits of a similar caliber.

You reached the front lobby, determining that this place is closed due to the lack of people. The front doors were bright for you, since you were not yet used to the light, so you couldn't accurately see outside.

You were about to leave when you heard a scream. it sounded like a kid. You didn't know what to do, and you didn't even know where you were.

Should you help?
