"Let's make a deal, Technoblade." Dream offered him as he stood in front of the monsters. Techno has no idea how he's commanding the monsters, but Dream did it. Well, it's Dream, after all.
Apparently Dream is working for this "monster lord" person named Kronos. This is Dream's way, working for a powerful force to start as much chaos as possible while being powerful himself. Like how he worked for Jshlatt. That green man really is smart in a cold and calculating way.
Cringe.
The voices agreed. They yelled at him to commit mass murder and start a riot/massacre right here and now... but Techno is too curious about Dream's deal. Maybe later.
Technoblade watched the monsters cautiously while looking completely monotoned. He has learned to hide his emotions from years of fighting. The monsters may be amateur, but they have numbers, which Techno does not have.
Dream is not someone to be underestimated, Techno understood that more than anyone.
He eyed the crossbow in his hand. How easy it would be to just explode everything right now...
"What deal?" Techno asked in his normal monotone voice.
The mask hid Dream's upper face, but Techno could see his mouth quirk up into a smile, "Well, it would be great if you joined us. If you don't, I'll have to tell them to attack you." He gestured to the monsters, "They probably won't kill you on their own, but I'll have to help. I'm bound to serve Kronos with an oath, after all."
Techno masked his surprise. An oath? Hmm, that doesn't sound like Dream's style. Then again, I don't know him that well... anymore.
Techno's red cape and long, braided hair flowed in the wind. The monsters hissed and snarled impatiently. Some monsters surged forward a bit. Techno has his crossbow in one hand and his trident in the other. He's ready to attack if he needs to.
"Let's just kill him, Dream," A vampire looking girl with mismatched legs said to Dream, "We don't need him to win this."
The Blood God raised his eyebrow. She has quite an attitude, "This conversation doesn't involve you, so stay out of it. The adults are talking."
The girl snarled and stepped forward, "HOW DARE-"
Dream put a hand in front of her, blocking her from Techno. "You don't know him, Kelli. He's a fearsome warrior even I couldn't beat one on one. (The duel) He's smart, resourceful, and good at strategy."
Techno could detect a faint smile dancing on Dream's lips. "One more step and you'll be dead. Chopped to pieces before you could even move an inch."
Kelli hesitated. In the end, she stepped back unwillingly, still glaring at Techno.
"Wise choice," Techno commented, his gaze as sharp and cold as the icicles in the Antarctic Empire.
Dream finally got to his point, "Techno, will you be a helpful and strong ally.... or an enemy?"
The voices are demanding blood again and getting increasingly louder.
"Tell me more about this.... whatever you're doing. Then maybe I'll consider your offer," Techno replied nonchalantly.
"Well, you're the blood god, after all. You should be interested," Dream stepped forward, his calm yet eerie smile still pasted on his face, "You love violence and genocide. If you join us, you will definitely get that. Blood and gore, violence, these kinds of things are easy to accomplish with us."
The piglin hybrid snorted, "More like the Voices love violence and genocide. In fact, they're screaming for it right this second."
The monsters shifted uncomfortably at Dream's description of Techno. "Blood God?" "Who is he?" Murmurs could be heard from the crowd. Techno ignored their monstrous whispers and stared at Dream. He considered his options.
