Family Reunion

1. Family Plans

Trucks and vans pulled up into the home of Gabriel and Lindsay. All of the Wilcox's have shown up. A family reunion was gonna go one for about a whole two weeks. There was a shed ready for  few of the other small families. It was right next door so no one would be far off the property. Buddy came out running. It was his birthday tomorrow and he was gonna be going into town for the first time with his dad and a few of his uncles. He belonged to Tommy and Carrie. After being married for about five years she had finally had their son. They've tried for more but it hasn't gone well for them. 

Buddy ran out to hug everyone, saying how much he's missed them. He was especially close with his grandfather Charles. He called him papa. Which Charles while Hunter called him Pa. 

"Hey guys, come on in dinner's almost ready. My lovely Lindsay and Leah had made it all by themselves." Gabriel said with a big smile on his face. Everyone went into the house to have dinner together. Rolls were being passed around and Buddy grabbed two of them while having three slices of meat on his plate. 

"So dad, what time are we going into town tomorrow?" Buddy asked his father Tommy. "Oh your papa, and me and your Uncle Jimmy and your other Uncle Gabriel will be coming to town with us tomorrow probably around after breakfast. We will be gone for maybe a few hours so make sure you don't forget your money that you have saved up." "Yes daddy." Buddy said hugging his father's side. Conversations were going around the table but all Buddy could think about was how excited her was to go into town for the first time in his life with his dad and uncles and his grandfather. He wondered if they would hunt for humans while there but he wasn't sure. Before he knew it was his bath time as well as his bed time. 

Carrie made sure he brushed his teeth real well before tucking him in and telling him a story from her childhood memories. Books and tales of dragons and princesses she was told time and time again. Buddy enjoyed the story of Repuntzel of a princess being held hostage by someone who had stolen her as a baby, but he loved it that the prince came and saved her. Just how he exxpects to do so when he one day gets his own princess. 

"I can't wait to be twenty mommy." He said smiling. "You think my princess will be beautiful?" Buddy asked while yawning. "I believe she will be son. Now get some sleep you have a big day tomorrow." Carried said while kissing her son's head and tucking him in. She then went to go use the restroom before heading to bed with Tommy. "He sure loves that story of that Repuntzel girl doesn't he?" Tommy asked while changing into his pajama bottoms and a grey top. "I guess he does. I am so tired." Carrie said yawning. Tommy chuckled and laid them both down for bed. They dozed off really quickly after that.
