Birthday Surprise

Chapter 1

"KIM FREAKING NAMJOON, HOW THE HELL DID YOU MANAGE TO BREAK THE TABLE?"

Seokjin shouted with all his might at the boy in glasses who was holding the broken leg of their new dining table looking really confused and guilty. This always happens, he breaks something then he himself gets confused about how he managed to break it.

"Sorry hyung, "Namjoon said trying to avoid any eye contact with Seokjin, "I was trying to move the dining table as you told me and somehow.."

"And somehow now you are holding the table's leg?"Seokjin was fuming with anger, his ears were turning bright red. Seokjin was already stressed about everything that was happening right now, now he has one more problem to deal with, "How did you even.."

Jimin who was standing on a stool helping Hoseok stick balloons on the wall jumped down and patted Seokjin's shoulder, "It's okay Hyung. Calm down. Focus on what's important right now. Why don't you check up on your cake?"

Right as Jimin said it the timer on Seokjin's phone went off, indicating that it was actually time for him to cake out of the oven. Seokjin threw a last glare at Namjoon's direction before walking towards their kitchen to get that delicious goodness out of the oven and to start decorating it. Yoongi was already in the kitchen making some late-night snacks for them. It took a lot of convincing to get him to get up from his bed and to cook. At one point the other's thought that it was impossible to convince Yoongi to cook. But at last, he decided that it was a special day so he should just give in and do some cooking.

"What happened in the living room? I heard shouting," Yoongi asked while flipping the pancake he was making.

"Namjoon broke the table," Seokjin sighed out loud and sat down beside the oven and opened it. He could immediately smell the sweet and delicious smell of the cake. He smiled seeing that and grabbed his oven mittens to get the cake out.

"How did he manage to break the table? He must have some God gifted talent in breaking things," Yoongi said.

"My point exactly, "Seokjin said, "It hasn't completely even been a month since we started living together. But how many things has he broken already?" Seokjin asked while putting the cake on the table.

"Smells delicious," Yoongi said.

Seokjin smiled at that compliment. Now he has to let the cake cool down a bit then he could start decorating.

Back in the living room, Jimin asked Namjoon to take the broken dining table away and to keep it out of everyone's sight for tonight. They would try to fix it the next morning. Namjoon did the same and took the table to Hoseok's room even though Hoseok protested. Hoseok also gave up and let him do it.

"Park Jimin, now get your ass back here and get me the scotch tape, "Hoseok who was standing on a really high stool, decorating the wall with balloons and fairy lights said.

"Ay, ay captain!"Jimin quickly grabbed the scotch tape from the table and handed it to Hoseok.

Right then Jungkook excitedly barged into the living room shouting, "I'm done!"

Jimin and Hoseok turned to him to see him walking in the living room with a big black poster paper, "I'm done making the happy birthday poster! Hyungs, hang it on the wall too!"

Jimin and Hoseok smiled seeing the excitement of the youngest.

"Sure, Kook. Keep it on the sofa for now and we will surely hang it, "Hoseok said.

Jungkook smiled and kept it on the sofa.

"Now what do I have to do?"Jungkook asked.

"Why don't you go and see if he's coming or not, give us a signal if he comes?"Namjoon asked coming into the room.
