Finding out the truth

Y/n's POV

I made sure that I didn't see Bucky, Sam or Steve anymore then I grabbed my backs and rushed to the elevator door and it opened and I closed it. Pushing the basement level button, I changed into Tony to make sure I didn't raise suspicion. The door opened and I said, "Friday?" "Yes sir." The AI answered. "Make sure to wipe this section of the security footage and make sure that no one knows where I am going." "Yes sir, is everything okay?" It asked. "Yes, of course. Just don't want to worry anyone." I grabbed the keys to the cheapest car that Tony had so nothing would be missing. I got the keys to the Honda Civic. I opened the trunks and put the bags in there, and as I was closing the trunk I pulled out my phone turning off any tracking device that it had and made sure that the car wasn't being tracked either, I made sure F.R.I.D.A.Y turned it off so I could be completely alone and unbothered. I put on my music blaring it through the car speakers and I started the engine and drove off into the night, shifting back to my normal self I drive through the city and go far away. I know a place where nobody will be able to find me not even Nat knows where this place. It's an old condo house that I had lived in before I joined the avengers. In the middle of the forest where I was used to being alone and practiced my own archery. I never told anyone that was one of my hobbies before I got taken to the Red Room. I was going home. Where I was safe, where I knew that everything was going to be okay. No one would recognize me. A new start.

-Back at the compound the next morning

Bucky's POV

As I was waking up, my head throbbed and slowly things were coming back to me, the party, drinking. Helping Steve and Sam to bed. I look around, oh yea I fell asleep in Sam's room. I quietly get up and open the door heading to my own room to take a shower. As the warm water is hitting my body, I just let my mind wander. Did I see y/n last night too? I thought as I turned the water off and got out, walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of shorts and t shirt. Headed down to the gym. I walked to the elevator and waited for the door to open. They opened and I walked in, pressing the 5th floor button. I waited, trying to remember last night, I could swear she was there. I'll see if shes there for training, if not then I'll check in on her. The elevator door opened and I walked inside to see Steve and Sam running around doing laps, Nat and Clint are doing rounds in the ring and Tony is standing there to make sure its a fair fight. I take a look around for y/n. She's not there. "Hey guys, have you seen y/n yet?" I asked. Tony looked at me and said, "not yet tin man, why? You scared she drank too much last night?" He gave me a smirk. "No he's right Tony," Nat says, "she missed out on breakfast and training too? That's not normal, especially when she knows she can get any opportunity to kick Steve's ass." "Language!" Steve said, giving her a dirty look as he continues to say, "anyways, I let her win. Her powers are weird but cool how she can turn into anyone anytime, I never met anyone like her."  I look around and they continue for a bit longer but I pulled out my iPod and put in my headphones and fumbled for a second trying to remember how to choose what songs I wanted. Y/n always helped me
with this. She is always so kind to me. I eventually figured out and started listening to "Flapper Girl" by the Lumineers, after that it just shuffled through the rest of the songs she helped me put on there. She would make fun of me and say I didn't know any good songs when I told her what I used to listen to back in the 40's. She had the biggest smile when I told her I had no idea what an iPod was.
-Time Skip-

After everyone was done and we all did a few rounds inside the ring, Steve and Nat took me down easily because I was worried about y/n. As soon as I headed to my door, I took a shower and changed into a pair of shorts and a tight t-shirt, I walked over to y/n's door and knocked softly, "y/n?" I said. No answer. I opened the door and found that she wasn't in there, in fact, the entire room was empty, none of her books on her shelf by her bed, not her clothes in her drawers, bathroom was cleaned out too. I started to panic, why would she just leave randomly, and without saying goodbye to everyone either. Did something happen? "Guys!" I shouted, and everyone came up to me looking confused. I just pointed inside her room, I was too numb to say anything else. Then there was a cluster of them asking where is she and what happened if she was okay, I tuned them out and slid down the wall curling up my knees into my chest, my breathing got heavier and I started shaking. "Hey, Buck, Buck," Steve said putting a hand on my shoulder trying to call me down, "its okay, we'll find her." "Friday, did you see where y/n went?" She responded that she was authorized to not share anything with them in regards of her whereabouts. "Override!" Nat, Steve and I said all at once. "I'm sorry I cannot." She responded. "I wonder what happened! She said she was fine last night after the party." My eyes grew big. The party. I stood up. "I remember something." Everyone looked at me, "I talked to her before she ended up leaving she said she didn't want to see or talk to Steve, Sam or Tony for a while," then they looked at each other confused. "Did you guys say or do something to hurt y/n?" Nat asked starting to get angry. Steve put up his hands defensively, "Not that I can think of, but actually I do remember talking to you and making jokes about y/n and you got upset and walked away," Wanda stepped into the conversation now, "That wasn't Nat you idiots, that was y/n! She was posing as Nat last night at the party because Nat wasn't feeling good." I looked at the men, now I was getting mad. "And you," she continued looking at me, "you didn't make things any easier. I saw her leaving this morning." "Why didn't you say anything? Did she say anything?!" I asked panic more evident in my voice starting to shake out of anxiety more and more. "She did think some stuff but I didn't stop her because I knew she needed some time away from you men, especially you Bucky, after what you told her I'm sure she won't be back for a while." Now everyone looked at me and I was just as confused as the rest of them. So I did see y/n earlier. "She says that you told her that you don't need her anymore, that she can just leave and not bother coming back to find you, and you called her a freak." She turned to the other guys, "you all did!" They all looked at each other and started to fight more but I just tuned them out and I got up and went outside for a walk to get this off my mind. It's not going to anytime soon though.
