CHAPTER 9

Sameem P.O.V
Sameem Woke up so happy because of the plans he made yesterday before falling asleep. He excitedly went to Rufaida's room to see if she's dressed for school and met her on the bed already dressed waiting for him. He then told her to move to the car as she was walking she said to him please my brother don't ever separate me with my new friend I love her because she's the kind of friend I've always dreamt of. He nodded his head knowing that what she's asking will be impossible.
As they arrived at their school, immediately he sighted his sister's friend He smiled broadly which made his sister realize what he did, she Then asked "Why are you just happy why are you smiling"?
"No nothing I just felt like doing"he replied .
"Oh please slow down here is my friend" she goggled.
"OK then see you when I come back I'm going to miss you my darling sis and please don't forget to tell your friend what I told you ,read well and study to make your parents proud, I'll be off to Belarus today ,I won't be coming back until I'm done with my degree" He said all this continuously with tears dropping down from his eyes and she answered wiping away her tears with a Shiva on her lips and she said " my brother I'm gonna miss you too but please can you have a second thoughts on what you sent me to my friend I know she won't take it easy but I will tell her ,I didn't promise you we are going to separate because I love her and she loves me". She said that coming down from the car with the thoughts of how she will miss her brother and how she will confront her friend with Her brother's message.
After Rufaida Told Samiha Her Brother's message Which he was seeing them from his car,He then smiled knowing she has received his message and calmly laid in the car waiting for her to come. He already put it at his mind that he will never respond to her Nonsence no matter what she says to him so as she came knocking on his window he knows the match has just begun. He then Received the biggest shock of his life from this little dog girl. He couldn't speak nor could he jump or even react he just speed up his car and went straight to the airport because he's already three minutes late for his flight.
As he arrived at the airport, he saw that his luggage has already been packed in The plane truck,He was disappointed as he wanted to change his clothes before boarding.
" this kiddo has ruined me,She's such a spoiled brat"he said.
He boarded the plane as eyes were on him,"no one is willing to mind their fucking business"He complained and hissed.
They arrived At Belarus safely and was questioned by a friend of his (Ahmad) "guy what's  on your shirt"?He asked pointing at the stains  on his shirt. Sameem Sighted  in annoyance and said " My friend no one has ever done this to me this is a disgrace I've never witnessed my whole life ,to tell you this mess  was done by a small girl which calls her name my sister's friend is so annoying" He complained as he narrated the whole issue to his friend.
   "Are u sure you have not fallen for this kiddo"
Ahmad asked jokingly.
"Man don't even start"
Sameem stopped him warningly.
"Man I love the girls courage oh" Ahmad teased.
"Hmm"
Sameem eyed him and started walking.
They went straight to the car and went home as sameem was totally disturbed. He called his family and Notified them of his safely arrival. They then dressed up and went straight to the seminar which is happening in Beralus law hall.

Sameeha P.O.V
Throughout the day we didn't have a word with Rufaida  as she was still angry at me. I didn't make a point to apologize nor do I want to clarify what happened, but I put it in mind that tomorrow I'm going to explain myself and I will tell her that it was all the devils work and anger ,I know she will Let it go.
It was closing time and Ummu came to pick me, She asked why she didn't see Rufaida with me, I told her what happened and she became angry with me.
" is this what I taught you"? She asked furiously.
No Ummu....... "is this how I trained you?" She cut in angrily as I was trying to explain.
"That's very good of you I will let your father know,I won't tolerate this act of disrespect, is it because I show you so much love then it will stop I can't let this go you have disappointed me". Ummu said fiercely and started the car.
"Ummu can I tell you what happened "? I asked.
"Keep that to yourself" she replied without looking at me.
I was so angry and jumped to the back seat without saying any word. We picked Kauthar from school and as she opened the car and saw me at the back, she laughed and said "E don happen". She hopped in the front seat and we continued our journey home.
I didn't make the mistake of leaving anything in the car and Ummu did not care to look back or carry anything. As I packed my whole stuff and turned to start walking, I saw Abbu standing at the door way laughing and saying "so no one is helping my daughter then let me help".
I ran to him and hugged him then I started crying . He then asked why I was crying and before I answer him, Ummu who was watering her plants said "you will be disappointed with what your precious daughter did today,I didn't know where she learnt it from because that act wasn't my training or yours". She paused.
"Tell me why are you leaving me in the dark"? Abbu asked for more detail.
She then told him what happened and he withdrew himself from me and went straight to the mango tree,as I saw that, I made an attempt to run but it was too late because Ummu has grabbed me.Abbu whipped me with the cane and Ummu tried her best not to let me escape. I was then told to kneel down and they left me there. I cried my soul out and I promised to teach Sameeha's brother a lesson he will never forget.
" sister please I'm sorry" Ukhti said wiping her tears off.
"It's no big deal"I said forcefully  smiling.
She knelt down beside me dusting of my pinafore.
"You go and eat" I told her.
"Until father release you" she said
"Will you stand up or until I woos you" I threatened. 
"Come here and tell me what happened and don't You dare lie to me" Abbu ordered.
I crawled to his place and told him exactly what happened from the first day we met with my new friend till today. He told me to stand and sit on his lap and he patted my back while wiping my tears with his other hand. He then said
"Sameeha no matter what happened,you shouldn't have poured cold zobo on him,what if he's going to the office? What if one of your teachers was there?its too bad my dear, try to control your anger my baby" dad sympathized.
I hugged him and say " dad I'm sorry"
He hugged me back and said "now i flogged my darling and I feel remorseful what can I do to make it up?
"Just take us out for shopping"Ummu chipped in shyly.
"Ummu are u still angry with me"?
I asked
"Who said I was angry with my darling I was just disappointed" Ummu said calmly.
"Thank God because I hate it when You guys are in bad terms" Ukhti assured. We all laughed and Abbu hugged all of us and pray for his family to always be this happy then He told us to go eat and bath and get ready for shopping. "Yeehooo" Khausar and I chorused. Went in and got ready we went for shopping and then dined at a restaurant before coming home.
This is how it kept going today in good terms with my parents and the next time the order way round . As for my friend, we reconciled and kept moving which made our families to be fond of one another and we became family friends.
It passed by and  we are already in SS3.Everyone in the school knows about my friendship with Rufaida. Some thought we were siblings while some thought we were relative by blood.We both  are intelligent, we received many prizes and awards which made us to be more popular in the school and other schools.
My agenda still hasn't changed Of not ever loving a guy ,that will never change. My mother has become tired of talking to me about marriage she said "she has given up".
Many students and teachers have asked me out I directly tell them what my agenda is but If they insist,then I play along and at the dine moment I tell them my opinion over love relationship Which made some call me deceptive type.We wrote  our senior secondary school certificate exams and we both  passed (ssce)Rufaida applied for law at  Belarus state university  which she was offered English While I told Abbu to let me stay for one year at home and he agreed honestly on the ground of next year I will apply for law at Belarus state university and I agreed but I wanted to study at Nigeria But what can I do I have to give in for dad to accept my demand.
