Karen got up early to hear her father already getting breakfast ready for her and him. He had to run to town to get a few things. And Karen wanted to come. Ever since she had lost her mother a few months ago, it was hard for her to be away from her dad. She didn't go to school, she was pulled from it so she could help her dad with the farm. She loved her dad and always wanted to be with him. She loved hard labor and was tough as she could be.

She got up and showered then got dressed into some jeans and a pink long sleeved shirt with a green jacket. She pulled her hair back in a bun. She came downstairs to greet her father good morning. Ronald was his name. He said good morning back to her before serving her with some eggs and bacon that he made from one of their pigs.

"So dad what all are we getting at the store today?" Karen asked while shoveling bacon into her mouth. "Well, we need some more cleaning supplies and some toiletries. How's the baby doing?" Ronald asked. "He's good. I finally had stopped vomiting and I'm happy about that." Ronald had been dealing with a lot in the past year, first his daughter got raped by some boy in her school, and now she's carrying his child. But last they heard from him was in prison. He wouldn't be getting out till he was at least eighteen so Ronald pulled her out of school not only to help with the chores and the farm but to save her from the other kids who judged her. Then his wife passes from cancer.

Karen was about at least six months along. She was showing, and he had gotten her all the baby things she would need. He told her that this wasn't her fault and that he was proud of her for being so strong. When breakfast was done, Karen washed the dishes to give her dad a break and they drove to town to get some baby diapers and everything else that they needed.

MEANWHILE:

"Come on Buddy we need to get a move on. Your Grandfather is growing impatient." Tommy spoke loudly up the stairs. "Yes daddy." Hunter gave his little cousin a hug and wished him good luck. Hunter and Buddy were very close almost like brothers and both equally loved to kill others for meat. Hunter still a bit more sensitive like his dad but still mean and scary. Buddy as sweet in some cases but could be vicious when needed to be.

Tommy, Jimmy, Gabriel and Charles all piled up in the blue truck and waited or Buddy to come along. He had his little knife with him. He rushed out after giving his mom a kiss on the cheek and raced out nearly tripping over his small feet. He got in the back with his Uncle Gabriel and Uncle Jimmy. while Tommy sat up front and Charles drove.

It would take at least two hours to get there since they didn't live anywhere near a town.

Karen followed her dad around the store in the small tiny town that they were in. When she saw a blue truck pull up to the small store. She saw all these guys come in with a little boy come in. They nodded at her and her dad.

"Karen baby can you please go and look around this store for any toilet paper?" Ron asked. "Yes dad." Karen left her dad's side to go look around in the unclean looking store for any toilet paper. Not being able to find any her bum accidentally hit Buddy. "Oh my, I'm so very sorry." She asked while helping him up. "It's ok. Just be careful where you are going next time." He said with a bit of an ugly tone. "Buddy, you be nice to that young lady." Gabriel said looking at Karen with his dark brown eyes. "I'm so very sorry sir. I'm pregnant and just am having a bit of trouble looking out where I'm going." She said smiling. "It's alrigth there dear, my wife had that problem as well every time she got pregnant." Gabriel said smiling at her.

"Well, I better go find my dad. I can't seem to find any toilet paper in this store." Karen said trying to be as polite as she can be. "Oh, I do believe that the store across the street has some dear, maybe I could walk you over there?" Gabriel offered nicely. "Pretty young pregnant girl like you shouldn't be out there alone." Gabriel said walking over to her. Karen was not sure about this, but she figured couldn't hurt. She let Gabriel walk her out to the store. He got her there safely and told her he would wait for her outside. So Karen used her money to get what she needed only to find no Gabriel soon after and the blue truck was gone as well. She went back to the store and found no sign of her dad.
