April 15th

Imagine having to be stuck in one place, all day, 24/7, in a castle and aren't allowed to leave AT ALL.

Yeah, that's my life. I've lived in the castle of Abeille for all of my life and it sucks! You might think it'll be cool because castles are big and you got the high life. That's not the case. It is the true the stone castle I live in is big, but I don't feel like I live in the high life.

My older sisters are always busy with learning how to be queens and other princes that I never get to talk to anyone. It SUCKS. But they have to do a lot of the busy work for some reason. My dad, the king, has never explained why.

Anyway, not much has changed in my life right now. My birthday is tomorrow! I'm gonna turn 16 years old! Finally! I've been waiting for this day because I've heard your wishes come true when you turn 16! I have a special wish that I hope comes true!

I guess that wraps up Princess Peggy Schuyler of Abeille's diary for today!

~Peggy Schuyler

~~~Peggy's POV~~~
I wrote everything about my day down in my dinner plate sized diary and looked at the old grandfather clock that stood beside my bed. It was only 7:11PM, only 19 minutes til it was dinner time!
I was already in my crimson colored evening gown for dinner with my family before I wrote in my leather diary. I hummed a little tune as I walked to my balcony and looked up at the night sky.
This night felt quite special as the stars and star dust mixed together to create a beautiful blue stary sky. 'If only I was able to touch the night sky with my two hands..' I thought to myself before walking out of the balcony and walking across my rather large room and out the door.
I walked down the hallway and past someone to look about my age. He was only a few inches taller than me, black hair, and had darker skin than me. I believe his name was 'Hercules', he's the son of a servant in the castle.
The boy was just adjusting a painting on the wall to be straight up before turning to see me. "Oh! Evening, your majesty!" He bowed to me as I turn around to face him. "Evening to you too," I say with a soft smile and a soft glow of pink on my cheeks.
Even though he was a lower class, I found him to be cute. My sisters always talked about how gross looking lower class men looked but Hercules.. Hercules proved Eliza and Angelica wrong to me.
"So, what are you doing?" I ask the boy calmly. I knew I had to go before my dad would be mad at me but, I had time to make a conversation, haven't really had an actual conversation with anyone in a while. "Switching paintings," Hercules answered with a smile.
I stared at him for a second then rose a brow. "Why are you switching paintings?" I ask him like Hercules was crazy. "Your dad wanted to rearrange a few paintings around this hallway for some reason," Hercules replied. "Probably because your birthday is tomorrow and he knows you like a certain painting. That's just my theory but yeah.."
I froze on the sight. 'Does Hercules know my birthday is tomorrow!? No one really cares about my birthday except for Angelica and Eliza. Does Hercules care too!? And how does he know about my favorite painting!? Wait, I'm making things up! Or am I?'
I thought to myself before I clear my throat. "How do you know about my favorite painting?" I ask him, hiding the fact that I was shocked and a little excited. "I overheard you talking about it not too long ago." Hercules said and looked at me, pointing to a painting of a flower field quite far from out kingdom. "That one, correct?" He asked
I turn to where he was pointing and looked at the painting. It was hanging right by my bedroom door. I look back at Hercules with a nod. "Y-Yeah.. That's the one," I say. "I would do anything to go there.. Ambers Field.. It's in another country but that place is the number one place I wanna see with my own eyes and not by a painting." I saw Hercules smile as I ranted a little. I blush from embarrassment and giggle nervously. "Sorry.. I just really like that place."
"Don't apologize!" Hercules assured to me. "That's a really beautiful place. I'd like to go there too." He smiled at me before I smiled back at him before suddenly.
"Peggy Schuyler!" I hear from a few feet from us. I turn to see it was Angelica in her blue evening gown. She stomped towards us as I felt my heart drop. "Come on, Peggy! Dinner's in 5 minutes! Quit talking to servants and come on!" Angelica grabbed my arm and pulled me away from Hercules and pulled me to the dinner table that was downstairs.
I could see that Hercules frowned a bit and going back to what he was doing..
