My Movie Theater Shoe Loss (Part 1)

Movie Theaters seem to be a common place for girls to loose their shoe, and I happen to have a story on that from around when I was in middle school.

This happened around 2016, when I was 12. I was really into Loafers around that time, especially because to me at least, they were very comfy. So, this was more of a friend date (With a boy.), not an actual "date" for context.

I just had gotten new loafers and wanted to wear them to the movies, I decided to, with no-show socks. I wore Adidas sweatpants and a pink shirt (From my friends account of what I wore and my memory.)

Keep in mind my loafers were a bit big.

We got in the theater and sat down, the movie started playing. I played with my shoe dangling it, little did I know, my friend was into my feet and I figured that out quick.

He knocked my loafer off my foot and in the aisle. A younger kid, maybe 7 picked it up and held onto it. I tried asking the kid to give it back but he wouldn't. I eventually asked his mom and they eventually gave it back.

I thought this was the end, but no.

About 25 minutes later when the movie ends and we walk out, the kid walked behind me and stepped on the back of my shoe causing it to come off. The kid takes off and I'm stuck without a loafer. I gave up and my friend ended up getting me a new pair. I gave him my other shoe.
