Arranged Marriage to Justin Bieber (On Hold Indefinitely)

"Emma Marie Swanson come down here right now!"exclaimed my mother. I knew she was mad I had been ignoring her for the whole day. She had told me she had something important to tell me but usually something important always turned out bad. I sighed. I knew I couldn't put this off any longer so I climbed out of my bed and headed out of my room to find where my mom was.

I looked around the house to find her on the couch in the living room waiting for me. "Emma what took you so long!" my mother yelled to me as I entered the room. I knew she was mad but I didn't really care at all. I looked at her and knew right away she was going to tell me something I wasn't going to like. I sat down on the couch next to her and angrily asked "what do you want mom". She looked at me and said "now I know your not going to like this sweetie but you must know I only want the best for you. Now you see me and an old friend of mine planned a long time ago that when we had children we would one day want them to marry."

Millions of thoughts ran through my mind as she said this. WHAT COULD SHE POSSIBLY WANT ME TO DO! My mother continued on saying " She and I both found out we were pregnant right around the same time and we just knew that we would have to continue on with our old plans. We signed an agreement that my daughter Emma Marie Swanson and her son Justin Drew Bieber would one day marry. This summer you are to go to my dear friend Alissa Beiber's house and become good friends with her son Justin. I know you may already have heard of him. Yes he is THE Justin Bieber but, that should not change anything. At the end of the summer I shall let the two of you decide if you beleive that a marriage between you two would work."

I could barely understand what my mom was saying to me. She wanted me to MARRY Justin Bieber! Im only 16 I wanted to shout at her! I couldn't beleive this, this is insanity. I thought arranged marriages were supposed to be against the law! Barely controling my anger I said " How could you do this! Do you really think that this is what I want, to get married so early in life! Maybe I want to have my own say in life. Maybe I want to marry for love not for some fantasy that my mother wants for me!"

My mother looked at me not in shock like I was expecting, instead she looked at me with barely any emotion at all. She said in a suprisingly calm voice " Like I said earlier at the end of the summer you two may decide if you want to marry or not. Darling of corse I would not force this on you. I only want the best for you and besides I know how much you admire Justin already." That much was true, ever since I heard the song " One Time" I was completely obsessed with him. Maybe my mom was right, one summer was entirely that much time right?

I turned to face my mom, I was still a little angry but there wasn't much of a choice so I said to her " I'll do it, I'll go live there for the summer but I DEFINANTLY will not be getting married anytime soon." My mother said with a smile of satisfaction on her face " That's all I ask sweetie. Now go up to your room and start packing." I nearly ran out of the room. I was so happy now, all the anger had vanished into pure joy. I was going to spend a whole summer with Justin Bieber!! I jumped on my bed and screamed happily in my pillow.
