Everyone walked inside the restaurant and picked a table big enough for all of them.
"It feels kinda funny being here again, huh?" Katelyn said.
"Yeah, it's been a while since we worked here together." Kawaii-Chan said.
"You and Katelyn used to work here?" Aaron asked.
"Yeah, we've mentioned it before, remember?" Katelyn said.
"Oh, yeah, you did."
"Not to sound rude, but can we just order already? We didn't come here just to sit around talking." Travis said.
"I'm pretty sure that's part why we're here." Zane said.
"You don't say!"
"Guys, relax. Let’s just look at the menu." Aphmau said.
Everyone looked at the menu, deciding what they wanted. Aphmau helped Aaron with his order. The waitress eventually came by and took their order.
"So, anyone up for a movie after?" Travis asked.
"Doesn't sound like a bad idea." Katelyn said, "What's playing?"
"I'll check." Zane said, pulling out his phone.
Aphmau was beginning to feel deja vu. It felt like the day before she moved. The only difference was that Laurence and Garroth weren't around to mess anything up. She hoped it stayed that way.
They settled on going to see the new Wonder Woman movie after dinner.
"Kawaii-Chan has to admit, it feels a little odd seeing us all together like this." Kawaii-Chan said.
"What do you mean?" Katelyn asked, "You ship all of us, don't you want this to happen?"
"Of course I do! But seeing fantasy become reality feels kinds weird. That doesn't mean I don't want it to be real."
"Wait, who do you ship?" Aaron asked.
"No one!"
"Wait... I remember seeing you here!"
"What?" Aphmau asked.
"Yeah. I don't remember what was going on, but I remember going to this restaurant. Katelyn, Kawaii-Chan, Laurence and Garroth were all there at some point. I think you were there too, Shu."
Aphmau felt her cheeks go hot. He remembered something else! It wasn't major, but it was something.
Eventually the food came to their table. When Aaron took a sip of his drink, he knew it tasted off, "Huh. This water kinda tastes weird." He commented.
"We're at a diner. It's probably tap water, anyway." Travis said.
"Everything alright over here?" A familiar voice said.
Everyone looked up at the waitress. When they saw who it was, they felt the blood drain from their faces.
Michi.
What was she doing here?!
"I hope you're all enjoying yourselves."
Katelyn got up from her seat and dragged Michi outside the restaurant.
"You guys stay here, we'll deal with her." Kawaii-Chan said, following Katelyn.
Katelyn pinned Michi on a wall, "What did you do?"
"I'm offended that you assume that I did anything." Michi said, smirking.
"Every time you're around, you bring nothing but trouble." Kawaii-Chan said, "We know you did something. Tell us what's going on."
