Part 27

William's Perspective:

It had been one whole month. One month of us doing everything we could to try to track down where Arabella was. I had been working day and night with Simonetta our witch to track down Arabella. We had used two out of the three blood vials she had instructed Dr. Edwards to take for emergencies. Never would I have imagined this was the emergency we'd be faced with.

I was barely functioning. I couldn't eat, sleep, or think straight. Every night that sick fuck was sending me videos on my phone of Arabella getting tortured. After the first eight days, Michael had taken my phone, he had only given it back to me today. I punched him so hard that he lost a tooth but he said he didn't care, he took it, and said it was no problem.

The bond between me and Arabella had become incredibly weak. But she was very much still alive. That much I knew for sure.

This was all my fault. If I had just decided to hold her and said that'd it take me some time to groove back into normal but it's not her fault, everything would have been fine, but NO I decided to be immature and walk out on her, run away and not come back till the next day. How could I be so foolish?"

I came back with the intent of apologizing to her, and holding her in my arms. But I came back to be hit with the terrible news that Ryker had taken her using a sleeping dust and was torturing my mate. I honestly felt like I died in that moment. Today Simonetta and me would be working with the last vial of blood. If this didn't work, all hope was lost.

I was praying to the Moon Goddess that I'd find my mate today. My mother, Nico, Sophie and dad were sitting in my office right now with frowns on their faces. Sophie spoke up "I don't care what the council says. I'm killing that man." Nico put his hand on my sisters shoulder lovingly. "Soph, the council has already given the order, to have Ryker executed for his actions."

My dad spoke now. "Son I know I've said this so many times, but again, we are so sorry for not believing you about Ryker."

I looked up at my dad. I knew I looked like shit. I hadn't shaved in a week and a half. I hadn't combed my hair. I hadn't even changed my clothes in two days. My dad spoke again "Willam I know how awful you feel but please go shower, and get ready. The council will be here in half an hour. It's a very short meeting. But still. You have a Pack to represent. And William, you can't show up like that.

I knew my dad was right. I got up without saying a word to anyone and walked out of my office.

Arabella's Perspective:

Suddenly my eyes snapped open. There was no one in the room. Gem spoke up to me loud and clear "Arabella link Simonetta. Tell her (The Angel Oak Tree in the North Of The Woods.)" Then link Samuel all we know about Erika too.

I said back "Gem, they already cut the....." Gem interrupted me "Arabella shutup and listen to me. Link her. And him. And then after that, channel all your focus in imagining you are one with me, and you are breaking out of these chains."

I listened to Gem and did what she asked of me. I didn't get any message back from Simonetta. Or from Samuel, but hoped they both received mine. Then I tried to channel all my focus on what Gem said. Suddenly even in my weak state a light blue colour started projecting all around me. Within a few minutes, I was able to go in and out of the chains. I could slip in and out of them.

I got off the sofa chair, standing up, I stretched my limbs out properly for the first time in a whole 30 days. It hurt like a mother, to move my arms and shoulders the most. I did slow circles with my arms forward. Then backwards. They felt extremely stiff but manageable. Then i did rotations with my neck.

After that I was about to shift into my wolf when Gem suddenly said "NO stop, we end this tonight. We end Ryker's life tonight. Then we leave." I asked Gem "Are you sure?" She said "Certain. Now please do what I said until he gets here. Channel your focus to your power."

All I felt like doing was taking a shower but I listened to Gem. I sat crossed legged on the sofa and took deep breaths, in through my nose, out through my mouth. Over and over again. Waiting for the devil to show up.

William's Perspective:

I had finished my stupid meeting with the council members. They had just left five minutes ago, I was sitting at my table. Trying to be strong for my Pack when a tear left my eye, then another, then another, until I was really crying. I couldn't stop crying. My Arabella was gone, and there was nothing I could do.

I swore to myself in this moment, that if I found her, if I got another chance, then other then the washroom, I was never going to let her out of my sight.

Oh my poor Arabella. That scumbag was probably hurting her. Cutting her perfect soft olive coloured skin open. I wiped my tears and started looking at all the pictures of her on my phone. Her asleep in our room. Her sipping on a smoothie at a restaurant. Her laughing at something Nico said. Me and her kissing at our wedding. Her cuddled up to me before we were about to watch a movie with my family. Her smiling while holding a baby of one of our pack members.

I was going through the many photographs I took of her when Samuel came running into my office. Samuel never called me anything but Sire or Alpha. But today he didn't give a fuck: "Will! Dude! Simonetta just got a message. Also I got a message! You know Erika! She's the Doctor that's been doing that sick shit to Luna!

I got up off my seat like a maniac "What message? Wait what? Erika? How? He looked at me with a smile. "From our Luna! And Yes Erika! She's  friends with that sick fuck!" I frantically said "When?!" Sami said "Just around fifteen minutes ago. Come on." Me and Sami ran to Simonetta's house in the woods. Once I got there. I saw that my parents, my siblings, Michael and Loren were all there. Michael gave me a soft smile. I asked "So what was the message!?" Simonetta looked up at me "Sire, Arabella said (The Angel Oak Tree in the North Of The Woods.)

Suddenly I was hit with the feeling of warmth. All my confidence that had disappeared this week, suddenly came back.

I remembered when we were young, there was a tree that was rumoured to be the entrance of a little underground world in the north of the woods.

I straightened my back "Okay everyone listen up. In the north of the woods. There's an angel oak tree that is the entrance to where your Luna is. I am certain of it. Sami gather twenty of our Warriors, make sure they bring a bed sheet with them just in case we need to cover our Luna." Sami nodded at me, "Yes Sire." Then he left.

Michael walked up to me and gave me a hug. "I'm gonna kill this mother fucker bro." I was about to say something when Sophie walked over to us "Not if I do first."

Not ten minutes later, and twenty of my Warriors, Michael me, Sophie and Sami were running towards the North of the woods. We checked the few trees that were there, until we saw a quite large one in the distance.

When we got there, about forty feet near the tree. We saw a group of wolves guarding the tree. We went through all of those wolves in no time. Mostly just shoving right through them. But when they started attacking my best friend and sister. I lost it. I ripped all of their throats out. Then proceeded to try and find the entrance of the Tree.
