The elevator creaked as if descended up towards wherever it was going. I sat up against the wall, no emotion showing on my face. As the doors opened I saw several faces, boys no less, looking down at me. Unlike them I was wearing clean clothes and I wasn't covered from head to toe in dirt.

Some of them rushed in to help me get out but I shoved them away and got out myself. Around me was a massive grassland with fair few buildings, it was all surrounded by big stone walls. I knew this place of course, they didn't fully wipe my memory so I knew what it looked like.

Everyone stared at me and I recognised some faces, faces of the people who I had watched over the past years.
"Welcome to the glade greenie." Alby said and I glared at him.
"Don't call me that." I hissed.

I looked around at everyone and saw someone who I didn't know, he had short brown hair and a cocky smile. He seemed like my type of person, I smiled at him and he blushed bright red.
"Who are you?" Minho asked.
"My name is Phyllis."

"Y-your a girl?!" Newt asked as he walked over.
"Well it would appear that way wouldn't it?" I retorted and he smiled.
I pushed through them and made my way to the deadheads where I sat down on a bench and started to calm myself down. It was all going to be okay, now that I was actually here I felt a lot more nervous than before.

The boy from earlier came over and sat next to me.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Thomas." He replied.
"It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too Phyllis."
"I can tell we are going to be good friends."

We sat in silence for a while before I turned to him and parted my lips to speak but no sound came out.
"What do you want to say?" He asked.
"It doesn't matter." I said and sat back with a sigh.

He grabbed my hand and when his skin touched mine it sent sparks up my arm. I looked over to him and I could see in his expression that the same thing happened to him. We sat there, hand in hand, for a while until we were interrupted by Newt and Alby walking over.

"You're coming with us." Alby said and ripped me away from Thomas. He handcuffed me and walked me over to the slammer.
"You are staying in here until we find something to do with you." Alby said as he chucked me into a cell.

I rolled my eyes and sat down on the bench as they walked away.
"She's hot though mate." Newt said and I could hear Alby slap him.
A few minutes later Thomas came running over and leaned into the bars.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey." He replied.

"Well this sucks." He said and sat down outside the cell.
"Not that much, turn around." I said and he spun on the floor.
"Why'd you need me to turn around?"
"So you couldn't see me do this." I said and unlocked my handcuffs with a hairpin.

"Why can't I see that?" He asked after I had told him to turn back around.
"So if they ask you if you saw me do it you can say no." I said and started to work on the cell door.

I made my way out of the cell and towards the deadheads again, Thomas trailing behind me like a lost puppy.
"Back against the wall." I said and we both stood against the wall as Newt and Alby walked past.
"How'd you know?"
"A feeling."

When we got back to the deadheads I didn't join Thomas in sitting on the bench, instead I walked opposite him and leaned against a tree. I unstrapped the dagger from my thigh and held it up into the light.
"Y-you have that?" He stuttered.
"Yeah, my mother gave it to me." I replied.
"Who's your mother?"
"That's a conversation for another day."

Newt, Minho and Alby came rustling through the trees and made to grab me. I held the dagger up to their height and they all took a step back.
"How'd you get out of there?" Alby asked.
"You underestimate me." I sneered.
"Clearly we made a mistake, let's just leave her alone Alby before someone gets hurt—" Newt started.
