CHAPTER 47

Tired of getting no sleep, I got up from my bed and left the dorm, being quiet making sure not to wake Pansy. I walked down the hall and found myself outside Draco's room. I stood for a second debating if he'd want to see me, before pushing the door open anyway.

He was fast asleep. He always looked so beautiful when he slept. His hair would fall across his face and his smirk would turn into a soft smile as he dreamt.

I crept over to his double bed, and carefully climbed into the other side, pulling the green sheets over me. He stirred and turned over. His eyes fluttered open and he looked at me confused.

"What are you doing in here ?" He asked groggily.

"I couldn't sleep" I mumbled.

He smiled weakly and pulled me into is chest. I wrapped my arms around him, resting my head on his chest. I intertwined my legs with his, getting as close as I physically could.

"I'm sorry Draco"

"Why ? You have nothing to apologise about."

"I should have listened to you, I know you didn't choose this"

"You're only just figuring this out ?" He asked almost sadly.

"I wasn't thinking straight"

"I know" He mumbled

"Hey!" I said, sitting up smacking his chest causing him to laugh.

"Alright ! Sorry." He smirked.

I leaned down and kissed his lips softly. He immediately obliged, and pulled me onto him. He bit my bottom lip giving his tongue access into my mouth. I let out a soft moan. I missed this. I missed him.

He pulled away and leant his head against my forehead.

"I love you" He whispered.

"I love you too" I whispered back.

I rested my head back against his chest, feeling guilty about everything I was keeping from him. I let my eyes flutter shut, as I listened to the sound of his heartbeat, the only thing keeping me going.

DRACO'S POV

I had no idea what time it was when she came in. I turned over and could feel her presence next to me. I had no idea what made her change her mind. She seemed was so angry.

I fell asleep with her on my chest. This would be the last change we got to spend together and she doesn't even know. I felt terrible, for keeping this from her but it was the only way to keep her safe.

I woke up and the first thing I could feel was Y/N's weight against my chest. She was fast asleep and I didn't dare wake her up. I ran my fingers through her hair gently.

She began to stir and nestled her head deeper into my chest.

"Morning" She mumbled groggily.

"Good morning darling" I smiled, as I continued to run my fingers through her hair.

"We need to get up" I whispered down at her.

"No" She whined.

I laughed, "Yes its lunchtime."

She instantly went very still and didn't say anything.

"Are you alright Y/N ?"

"Yes" She mumbled.

We dragged ourselves from bed and got ready to go and get food. We sat at the end of the Slytherin table, not wanting to converse with anything.

"You need to eat something" I told Y/N. She continued to stare down at her plate.

"I'm not really hungry" She said, pushing her plate away from her.

I looked at her confused. I knew she didn't want to come to breakfast but why wasn't she eating ? Somethings wrong.

"What's wrong ?"

"Nothings wrong, I'm just not hungry." She reassured me.

"I've never heard more bullshit in my life"

She rolled her eyes, and stood from the table.

"I need to go to my dorm" She said before, rushing off back to the common room.
