Me vs the world

I was sitting in a booth with June next to me while she helped me with my speech impediment. As she went through the lesson I felt like I wasn't even there. I kept thinking about that woman I saw in the crowd during my fight with the juggernaut. Every time I think of her I get a sense of Deja vu, like I've seen her before. She could be the clue to my past, it could be the reason why she seems so familiar. As I thought of this I couldn't help but look down at the table, which didn't go unnoticed.

"Is something wrong Kasai?", June asked curious.

"Just lost....in my thoughts", I answered.

"More memories?", She asked.

"No, I just....remember a woman. I saw her...at the fight...with juggernaut. She sparked a.....sense of familiarity", I said.

"So she has some key to your past you say", June said intrigued.

"Yes, but I don't....know how", I said thinking.

As June was about to say something else someone burst in. A nine year old boy named Kai who is a local to the area. He was out of breath as he walked up to us. I could tell he must have ran a far distance with the amount of sweat. He had a worried look on his face along with fear, I don't like that look.

"Kai....what's wrong?", I said standing up in front of him.

"some....villains. They started wrecking....some streets. They're looking for you", Kai said while catching his breath.

".....show me", I said with anger.

Kai turned around running off with me in tow. On the way out I grabbed a black trench coat that June got me as a gift along with some shirts big enough to fit me, all of them black of course. I put the jacket on the coat as I followed. Soon we were on the farther side of rock bottom. As we got there I could hear the sound of explosions along with people running past us. As we got closer I told Kai to stay back as I handle this. As I walked up I saw some of the local police making a barrier to stop civilians getting close. Rock bottom still has a police force but not a big one. As I walked up i noticed a familiar looking officer telling people to back away.

"Officer Kenji", I said walking up to him.

"Kasai, thank god", he said giving me his attention.

"What's....the situation?", I asked.

"we got a group of ten men, all with different quirks. A quirk that turns objects into bombs, a quirk that can turn his arm into diamond, four quirks with strength enhancement, two mutation quirks with one having a head of a shark and another with an arm of a squid, and two ice type quirks", Kenji said.

"Any heroes....showing up?", I asked walking past him.

"We put in a call..."

"Don't bother. they won't.....come", I said as I cracked my neck.

I walked into the danger zone seeing smoke rising from destroyed cars and businesses. It's going to take awhile for these people to rebuild there businesses, looks like I'll be busy for awhile. I walked through the smoke seeing the crowed of villains standing in front of me. We both stopped looking each other down.

"There you are, we knew we would find you if we made enough noise", one said with a laugh.

"Looks like we're collecting that bounty boys", another said.

"Turn...around. Last...chance", I said crouching down waiting for an answer.

"yeah right, a bounty like this....we wouldn't miss it for the world"
