Cassandra

I got in the back of his car because a guy was in his front seat; I got it and in and said hi. The guy in the front seat smirked and said, "hello again Cassandra." What the fuck. It was Jordan, the mysterious guy from social class. I just repeated with, "hello again."

The two of them kept talking, then out of nowhere, I blurted, "So do you both know each other."They took a little while to say anything, then finally cole said, " We met each other on the first day of school then we just became friends after that." Jordan looked at me and asked how I knew cole. " Well cole sister, my best friend Lindsay and I have known each other since we were born, so naturally I grew up with cole and Lindsay. They are my family." I finished as Jordan just said, cool; Cole was smiling.

We arrived at a warehouse, and we all got out; cole started walking towards me. He has his mean face on; he was looking at me seriously, which was beginning to scare me, so I just looked away.

"Cassandra you will have to listen to me and do and say everything I tell you, do you understand, and you can't tell anyone what you see this is very important." I just nodded, jorden just stared at me. We all started walking; cole gestured me to stay behind him, so I did what he said. Jorden was right beside me; he was very close. As we walked inside and saw many men, cole gestured to stop, so I did.

Jorden looked at the men and then quickly put his hand around me. I looked at him, and he just wisped to go along with it. Jorden told the men I was with him and would do no harm. I couldn't necessarily hear what cole and the other men said. Still, I think they said something along the lines of "the mortal's smell" and that they hated me the most." Cole just looked back at me every once in a while; the other men just looked me dead in the eyes like they wanted me dead. They also talked about how the "queen" said to do better and have a "date set." What type of weird fucking kind of shit he was he in, but I didn't think much of it, but questions were at the back of my head. I made a mental note to ask about it.

The man yells for me to come forward. Cole gestured that It was okay to do so. I made sure to make a mental note of all the things around me and what the men were wearing, their descriptions just in case.

He brought out a lady who was very old but at the same time looked young. It was tripping me out but seemed nice. She stepped forward and greeted me, and she stared at me with the most sorrowful eyes I have ever seen. Her clothes were unique, something I have never seen before.

Her eyes were grey; she had a beautiful smile. She said to give her my hand, so I did. She gasped, and so did I. She then said, "It is her, she is the one, you have no idea what is in store for you, you must fight the darkness and light. You shall keep the peace. You shall choose who lives and who dies, you are destined for many great things. Do not trust anyone, he will come to get you at midnight in your sleep that's when your journey will start."

The more she talked I was getting dizzy. My head was pounding; she just kept talking. My arms and legs were about to give up; I looked at cole and jorden one last time before everything went pitch black.

Cassandra

I opened my eyes and saw jorden and cole around me; there was no one else around. I was outside In the parking lot; I asked what happened. They said that we were walking in the warehouse and I just passed out in the parking lot, but lucky Jordan was right next to me, so he caught me. I asked what about the old lady, and they looked at one another; they looked confused and asked if I hit my head.

I told them I wanted to go inside the warehouse. We walked while jorden had his arms around me to support me. I let him keep his arms around me. We started walked around; there was a table before and couches. I wondered to myself if it was all a dream or was it real. Her touch seemed so real, so did everything else. I moved away from cole and looked around in the corner, and I found a piece of clothing. It was old and weird. I slipped it into my pocket and said, never mind, cole and jorden just started walking back to the car.

We walked back to the car. It was dark outside; jorden sat next to me in the back of the car. He sat right next to me with his hand still around me, but I didn't mind. He had a soft touch. It was comforting; we drove back in silence. I asked if I could go home and get clothes. I was going to stay the night. I told my mom that I was staying at Lindsay's. She just nodded. Jordan decided he was going to come over and stay the night at Lindsay's house as well. We all talked that night and ordered pizza and ice cream.

Cole and Jordan kept checking up on me, making sure I was okay. We all eventually fell asleep, but I ended up waking up in the middle of the night. It was another one of those nightmares. I didn't talk about them to anyone. I hated talking to people about my feeling and opening up because I felt like it would be used against me one day. I really couldn't trust anyone with anything. I love Lindsay and Rory, but that doesn't mean they know everything about me. I have never talked to anyone about really personal stuff. Sometimes I have told things to Lindsay, but after I tell her, I feel that she pitty's me, and I hate that. I hate when people treat me like I'm broken, even if I am. I just wish I could trust someone with my life, spill all my secrets and never look back, but I knew that wasn't happening in this lifetime.

I carefully went to the library room that Lindsay's family had. I picked a random book off the shelf; I then read the book so that I could fall back to sleep. I was thinking about what the old lady said, "Do not trust anybody" I don't know if I believed Cole and Jordan.

I was stopped with my train of thought when Jordan woke up and started walking towards me. He looked exhausted and tired. I had the small night light on; it wasn't that bright. His eyes met mine; we just looked back at one another. We didn't say one word to each other. He looked at the bookshelf, then proceeded to get a book. He sat next to me; I had a blanket, which he stole and got close to me. I yelled at him but whispered at the same time, so I didn't wake anyone up. I told him to get his own, and he just ignored me.

He opened the blanket and gestured me to lay on him with the blanket. Since I was cold, I did. We both didn't say a word to each other; we were just reading. I decided that I didn't want to read anymore, so I put my book down and wanted to thank him, so I did. "Thank you." He replied. What is it I'm being thanked for? I softly said everything, you caught me when I passed out, and I never thanked you, so I am now. Also, just being here and checking up on me through the night and now your here." He just replied, " I would do it again and again; it's nothing really." He put the book down and wrapped his arms around me; I found a certain comfort to it all. And then I fell asleep in his arms.
