Hi my name is Cassidy ( Casey) Casey twin brother is Truck 81 Captain Matt Casey and my best friend is Kelly Severide who is Lieutenant on Squad 3, today I'm joining Truck 81 & Ambulance 61 as the new PIC as Brett left and now Mackay needs a new partner and Chief Boden said that I can work on Ambo but make sure that I always have my Truck turnout gear and helmet with me when Ambo get's a call; and I'm working under my brother when Truck get's called out.

Cassie's POV
I just arrived at Firehouse 51, I walked up to the Squad table where my best friend was with Tony, Capp and Cruz; I just sat down at the empty space next to Kelly and kicked up my feet, and was about to relax when the bell went off as it said " Truck 81, Squad 3, Engine 51, Ambulance 61, Battalion 25, House structure fire 1450 West End Street", so we quickly got our turnout gear on and jumped into the rigs and drove off to the call. As soon as we reached the scene, Chief Boden started giving out orders Chief- Squad, Truck do a primary search, Herrmann make sure the lines are ready.
Severide- Okay, Capp you and Tony,search the first floor, Cruz with me we're gonna search the basement".
Casey- Mouch, Gallo and Dawson search the second floor and me and Cassie will go with Severide and Cruz ."
So me, Matt, Kelly and Cruz went down to the basement and started shouting
Kelly- Fire department call out ! Cassie- Fire department call out ! Matt- Fire department call out ! Cruz- Fire department call out!
Then I heard a baby crying while Kelly and Cruz heard a man shouting for help, and Casey heard a little boy's voice from where I heard the baby so Kelly and Cruz went to get the man, while me and Casey went to get the baby and boy out of the house, when I heard Dawson saying over the radio Dawson- Second floor is clear; me, Mouch and Gallo are coming out now." Then Capp said over the radio ... Capp- Hey we have 2 victims in the living room.Then we all went out then I heard a little girl's voice shouting for help so I gave the baby to MacKay and ran back inside when Matt screamed over his radio Matt- CASSIE WHERE ARE YOU!? Cassie- I'M HEADING BACK UP TO THE SECOND FLOOR, I HEARD A LITTLE GIRL CRYING FOR HELP!
Then I heard the chief saying over his radio...
Chief- Casey you only have 10 seconds to find that little girl and get out of that house before it goes up in flames! Cassie- Copy that chief.
I found the little girl, and spoke into my radio Cassie- Found the little girl coming out now, stand by ! Chief- Copy that Casey , you only have 2 seconds to get out!"
Then the fire started making it's way to where me and the girl were so I said over my radio...
Cassie- Erm chief the fire is spreading fast and coming towards us, I'm gonna have to jump out of the window so look out below you guys ! Chief- Copy that Casey!
So I broke the window glass and threw the girl out first, and looked down and saw the squad guys with the little girl in their arms, then Kelly shouted up to me
Kelly- Cassie you're going to have to jump, I promise that I'll catch you. Cassie- Promise! You better catch me Severide, okay here - I - come !
Then I ran and jumped out of the window and just like Kelly said he caught me. Then BOOM ! The house went up into flames, Herrmann told the engine guys to hit it once the fire was out, me and MacKay put the little boy and girl and the baby in the back of the Ambo and I asked Kelly
Cassie- Hey Kelly can you come with us cause we need someone to hold the baby while I check out the little boy and girl ? Kelly- Of course, Chief? Chief- Go ahead Severide . Kelly& Cassie- Thanks Chief. Cassie - MacKay you drive, while me and Kelly go in the back of the Ambo. MacKay- You got it Cassie.
MacKay got in the front of the ambo, while me and Kelly got in the back and I began to check out the little girl first and she had 2nd degree burns and smoke inhalation and then the little boy had a broken left wrist and right ankle with 1st degree burns, then I began to check the baby who was sleeping in Kelly's arms which looked so adorable; after I check the baby we've already arrived at Med, so Kelly carried the baby out while me and MacKay took the boy and girl.
*inside Med*
Maggie- Okay what have we got ? Kelly- We've got a 4-5 month old baby found him in the cot down in the basement crying. Maggie- Okay Trauma 1 with Manning, what else do we have ? Cassie- A 4 year old girl with 2nd degree burns and smoke inhalation. Maggie- Okay, Trauma 2 with Dr Rhodes what else do we have ? MacKay- A 2 year old boy with a broken left wrist and right ankle with 1st degree burns. Maggie- Okay, Trauma 3 with Dr Halstead, what else? Kelly - Male , 35 smoke inhalation, fractured spine. Maggie- Trauma 5 with Dr Choi and Dr April.
Once the kids and man were with Natalie, Connor and Will, Ethan and April I filled out the form while MacKay went to stock up and Kelly was with me.
*Back at the Firehouse*
We just got back and we got out the ambo when the bell went off again
In-con- Squad 3, Truck 81, Engine 51, Ambulance 61, Battalion 25 multiple car collision West North Avenue.
We all ran to the rigs, and drove off behind the Chief while the other rigs follow behind us.
* The scene*
As we arrived I saw 8 cars crashed and people shouting for help, then Chief started barking out orders.
Chief- Truck, Squad 2 people from each rig go to a car and start getting victims out of them, MacKay you stand by.
Then Matt started telling truck and squad who's with who.
Matt- Okay, Severide you and Cassie go to the red car, Capp and Tony with Gallo go to the green car, Cruz you and Mouch go to the black car, Herrmann you and the rest of Engine go to the other 4 cars while me and Dawson go to the last car let's go!
We all started getting the victims out, and I radio over to the Chief
Cassie - Hey Chief we're gonna need additional ambo's plus extra Squad and Trucks right now, cause there's more cars far back ! Chief- Copy that Cassie.
Then Chief radio to Main
Chief- This is Battalion 25, we are going to need additional ambo's, Squad and Trucks to our location. Main- Okay Battalion 25 we are sending you additional ambo's, Squad and Trucks from firehouse 66, 30 and 99 to your location.
*After the call* So we all got back to 51 and got changed when the bell went off meaning shift ended, so I went with Matt, Kelly and Gabby back to our apartment as we all live together .
* At the Apartment *
When we got back, I went up to my room which is next to Kelly's room, I got changed into my pjs

And headed into the kitchen and grabbed a beer for all of us and went into the living room and sat next to Kelly, while I handed out the beers to Matt and Gabby and then one for Kelly and me, we started to watch the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions game.
