At the far end of town

It was one of those nights,

When the moon hid behind the clouds,

She was starring at the sky,

Wishing she could see the little twinkling lights,

But nowhere could she find,

The stars which soothe her mind,

She stood there waiting and watching for a while,

Then she got tired and decided to call it a night

At the far end of the town,

He was watching the clouds,

It brought him a peace of mind,

That there was no moonlight,

Only darkness hovering around,

He stood there taking in the air of the night,

The quietness filled his busy mind,

Finally contented he closed his eyes.

Two extremes yet one whole,

The two sides of one coin,

One wonders what destiny has in store,

For the meeting of these two souls,

Who unknowingly  are searching for a comfort,

In the lonely night to cure their hearts' sore.
