Fake Personality

Hi everyone! I'm going to be using Nina Dobrev/ 'Elena Gilbert' from The Vampire Diaries as Hayley. (The new character).

Emma Parkers

The unknown girl's eyes met mine. Her smile faded slightly.

"Oh how rude of me. My name is Hayley Evans. Nice to meet you." She cheered. Her smile was so fake.

"My name's Emma." I replied bluntly. Her eyes immediately travelled to Liam. He looked anxious.

"Hey Hayley.." He greeted.

"You haven't been answering my calls. Are you okay?" She cooed. I bit my lip. Her voice annoyed me already.

"Oh, you've been calling me?" He bluffed. I could always see right through his lies.

"Duh. I've missed you!" She wined. Those words she spoke made my fists clench.

"Uh, sorry. I didn't know." He huffed.

"Next time answer me. Okay?" She demanded.

I couldn't help it any longer. I had to ask. "How do you guys know each other exactly?"

"Liam and I are dating" she batted her eyes.

Dating?? What the fuck..

"Actually-.." Liam began.

"Liam can we speak privately?" Hayley cooed. He nervously got up and they walked out of the cafeteria, heading towards the lockers.

I sat alone, at an empty table. Eating my lunch. Confused and hurt.

Liam Walsh

Hayley dragged me away from the cafeteria, leaving Emma. She took me to her locker.

"Liam, that girl was totally drooling over you." She snarled. I felt so annoyed of how she spoke about Emma.

"Her name is Emma. She wasn't drooling. She was confused of where you came from."

"Whatever. I'm just glad to be reunited with you." She cooed. I wanted to vomit.

"Hayley, when we hooked up-.."

"Oh, it was amazing wasn't it? I feel so lucky to have met you! It must have meant to be!" She cheered.

I was blind drunk. I barely remember meeting her.

"Anyway, I have to go now. Kiss kiss!" She waved. I stood at her locker contemplating how to break it to her I never wanted to date, as she strutted away. How do I break that to someone?

I exited my math classroom, joining myself to the busy halls of people walking to their dorms.

"Emma!" A familiarly annoying voice from behind me shouted. I turned to displeasingly discover, it was Hayley.

"Hi." I greeted politely.

"Hi, I just wanted to talk to you about Liam." She said, once again giving me a fake smile. Here we go.

"What's up?"

"I was wondering if you had any tips for me. Like his favourite food. His favourite restaurant. All that stuff. I want to take him on a surprise date." I could feel my palms sweat uncomfortably.

"Um, I don't know if you p're asking the right person.."

"Nonsense! He said you were a close friend of his!" She insisted.
