After the president student council read his speech, the students excited and spread to watch various sports at this festival. But because today is the opening day, then there’s no match. You’re very busy. As secretary of the Student council, you can’t look around at the festival.
You stuck in student council’s room with the tasks for you. You groaned inwardly and ruffled your hair in frustration. *If I knew I’d be busy like this, I’m not going to go to Lotte world yesterday…* You sat up from your seat and walked over to the window, you put your hand into the window, looked down to everyone who are having fun and enjoying the festival.
“Are you tired, sunbae?” A voice came, you spun around and looked at Your junior, Hayoung.
You walked to a chair and sat on it, you sighed. “Yes, I’m so tired Hayoung… I also want to enjoy the festival…”
“Sunbae can enjoy the festival, I’ll do your duty.” She kindly take your work and bring it to her table. Smiling, she began to do your work.
You touched and walked over to her, “Hayoung, you’re so kind… Thank you! I’ll be back!” You ran out of the room.
You walked around the festival, sometimes you were smiled and bowed when someone greeted you. You beamed when you found Kai, he was standing in front of knick-knacks’ stand. You smiled to yourself and ran over to him. You hugged his arms, “KAAAAI!!”
“Hi, babe.” He smiled and kissed your forehead.
“What are you doing here?” You asked, looked at the pretty knick-knacks.
“I was planning to buy you something, I think you’re very busy.” He said.
You nodded eagerly, “Yes! But, Hayoung kindly took it…” You giggled, and back to looked the knick-knacks. You gasped in awe when you found a beautiful bracelet, “Whoa… It’s beautiful.”
Kai looked at it, “Do you want that?” You looked at him and nodded eagerly again. Kai chuckled and pointed it to the student who have the stand, “How much is this?” He asked.
“Actually this is the bracelet for couples, sunbaenim. This is definitely suited for the best couple like you!” He said happily.
You and Kai looked at each other and laughed together. “I like this,” Kai said, he took out his wallet and paid to the student.
After that, you wear the bracelet on your wrist and put it to Kai. You smiled to yourself as you looked at your bracelet couples.
“It’s cute,” You smiled, turning to Kai. He gave you a smile and held your hand.
Both of you walked to enjoy the Festival. But you haven’t seen Chanyeol, Baekhyun, or Sungji earlier. You think if they’re busy with their respective clubs and Sungji busy helping the stand that made by your class. You’re busy thinking about them, so don’t pay attention to your feet. It makes you bumped into someone.
“Aw!” Both of you winced at the same time.
You looked up and widened your eyes as you saw who it is. He turned to you and a smirk appeared in his face, It was Peniel and his friends.
“Oh, Hello Jiwoo~~” Peniel smirked, put his hands into his pockets.
Kai stepped forward and hid you behind him, he glared at Peniel. Peniel laughed and turned to Kai, “I will not interfere with your girlfriend, calm down dude. Err, where is he? Where is Park Chanyeol? Is his hand still In bandages?” He laughed with his friends as he hi-fived with Ilhoon.
“Shut up!” You snapped at him. You crossed your arms, “Did you forget? We always beat you, even If you wear a fraudulent manner.” You smirked at him.
He was in disgrace if somebody say that to him. But it is true, whatever he does, he still lost from your school or Chanyeol. He hissed, and without saying anything, he walked away. His friends looked at each other, they bewildered but followed him.
Kai chuckled and rubbed your head, “That’s my girl.”
“I hate him! Why he has never changed!!” You pouted as you crossed your arms.
“Because he never intended to change,” Kai said, you nodded in agreement.
“Kai, why didn’t participate in any sports? When you’re very good at running,” You looked at Kai with faced-curiosity.
Both of you began to walk again, “Because… It’s very troublesome. And I would like with you than to participate in the sports.” He said as he winked.
You laughed, “Yeah, better not.”
“Why?” He looked at you in puzzlement.
You sighed and looked down at the ground as you walked, “Because if you participate in the sports, there will be many girls who cheer for you,”
He chuckled, “Why you are so jealous now?”
“Because you’re getting good-looking,” You pouted but blushed.
“I know it, I’m so handsome. I’m the kingka, remember?” He proudly said. Made you turned to him and nudged his stomach that made he winced in pain but laughed.
Both of you laughing together.
“Hey… How Jonghee noona and her boyfriend? Are they good?” You asked softly.
His face turned serious and no longer laugh, “They’re fine.” Kai replied.
“And… you’ve come out of the gang right? You don’t join them again, right?” You asked.
He stopped walking and turned to you, gave you a serious look. “Don’t you trust me?”
You cleared your throat, “I do believe you, Kai… I’m just afraid…”
“What are you afraid of?” He asked in a cold voice.
“I’m afraid you’re in danger, Kai. Most of the gangsters are always like that. If one of their members out, they would—“ “I’ll be fine, you don’t have to worry about.” He cut off your words, but gave you a weak smile.
“You… You aren’t out of the gang?” You asked.
He shook his head slowly, “It’s not like that, there’s no right time… But I promise, as soon as possible.” He smiled at you.
You looked down, afraid that he didn’t keep his promise. He saw the doubt in your face, he makes you look at him with his hand.
He searched your eyes, “You still don’t believe me?”
You didn’t answer, just shook your head.
“Afraid of something maybe happening to me?” He asked.
You nodded. He smiled a little and pulled you into his arms, “It’s okay… I’ll be fine, you don’t have to worry about.” He whispered in your ear.
You didn’t answer, didn’t put your hand on his back. You’re still worried though as he said that to you. You bit your lips, *I just hope that gangsters didn’t like in the movies…*
“SUNBAE!!” You starled and pulled your body away as you looked at Hayoung.
“Yes, Hayoung?” You asked innocently.
“Sunbae must be back or Junghwan sunbae will be angry!” She said breathlessly.
“Ups,” You chuckled. You turned to Kai and smiled, “I’ve to go, See you later.” You ran over to Hayoung and fled in a hurry. You stopped running and spun around, waved at Kai. “I’ll see you later, my kkamjong!!” You shouted. Giggling, you walked away with Hayoung.
He giggled, slipped his hands into his pockets. *Everything will be fine if you are always with me, Jiwoo. Because I thought, you’re my destiny.*
