Kimagure Mercy Meets Fate:Rebirth

The date was April 10th, 2021. It was currently afternoon in Negi Root City. A loud, bored sigh came from the Solberg residence. Katherine (Kimagure Mercy) is the one that's bored.

Kimagure Mercy: I'm...so...bored!!!

Star Vocalist AS: Hey, I know! Why don't you go on YouTube? There are tons of videos that you can watch.

Kimagure Mercy: I guess so. Until I get bored again, that is.

She went over to the computer and opened up YouTube. A certain video caught her eye.

Kimagure Mercy: Fate:Rebirth? Is that a song?

Star Vocalist AS: Oh, that's an old one! But it's good.

Kimagure Mercy: I'm actually interested. The blonde...she looks cute in red, actually.

Star Vocalist AS: Oh, wait a minute. I just remembered something. This is a SCL Project song. And in almost every single song of theirs, there's a female character played by Len.

Kimagure Mercy: So, crossdressing?

Star Vocalist AS: Yeah, pretty much.

Kimagure Mercy: I still want to watch it.

She pushed play on the video. Both girls were silent as they watched it. After a few minutes, they looked at each other.

Star Vocalist AS: Whoa.

Kimagure Mercy: Now I want to chat with this Len module.

Star Vocalist AS: But what if he's busy?

Kimagure Mercy: I hope not.

She went onto Zoom and saw that Fabio was available.

Kimagure Mercy: It says that his name is Fabio Reagan. He's 19, 5'7"...geez, that's taller than me...um...his birthday is November 16th...his favorite color is red...and he's allergic to cats.

Star Vocalist AS: Like Aretha (Ambivalence)?

Kimagure Mercy: I guess. Okay, let's do it.

She invited Fabio to chat.

Meanwhile, in the Natsu-P Len house, Fabio was asleep in his room. Until a sudden beeping from his computer woke him up. He screamed and almost fell off his bed.

Fate:Rebirth: Geez. That scared me.

He went over to the computer and saw that Katherine wanted to chat with him.

Fate:Rebirth: Katherine Dullingham, huh? Never heard of her. Probably just a stalker. Eh, why not?

He accepted Katherine's message.

Kimagure Mercy: Hello.

Fate:Rebirth: Um...hi.

Kimagure Mercy: You sound pissed. Are you okay?

Fate:Rebirth: I'm fine. I was sleeping, until my computer woke me up.

Kimagure Mercy: Oh. Sorry.

Fate:Rebirth: No, it's okay.

Kimagure Mercy: So, I heard your specific song just a few minutes ago...

Fate:Rebirth: And? What do you think of it?

Kimagure Mercy: It's a great song. To be honest, I was bored. Until I heard your song.

Fate:Rebirth: I'm glad that you think my song is great.

Kimagure Mercy: You should hear my song. It's called Kimagure Mercy, which is also my module name.

Fate:Rebirth: Maybe I will sometime.

Kimagure Mercy: I want to know more about you, Fabio.

Fate:Rebirth: Like what?

Kimagure Mercy: What do you like to do in your spare time?

Fate:Rebirth: Well, I mostly just stay home and either watch TV or sleep.

Kimagure Mercy: What about school?

Fate:Rebirth: I'm in my freshmen year of college.

Kimagure Mercy: I'm in my sophomore year now. Do you currently live with anyone, or do you live alone?

Fate:Rebirth: I live with my 4 friends. And like me, they're Natsu-P Lens. Surely you've heard of them.

Kimagure Mercy: Um...not really.

Fate:Rebirth: Their names are Arnold (Arrest Rose), Loren (Lovelessxxx), Ian (Imitation Black), and Isaiah (Immoral Memory). 

Kimagure Mercy: Oh, wait a minute. I've actually heard of Ian. Isn't he the most popular one?

Fate:Rebirth: Yep. What about you? Do you live with anyone?

Kimagure Mercy: I live with my roommate, Azalea. She's here with me.

Star Vocalist AS: Hi there!

Fate:Rebirth: Hi, Azalea.

Kimagure Mercy: What about family? Do you have any?

Fate:Rebirth: ...

Star Vocalist AS: Fabio? Are you okay?

Fate:Rebirth: I don't like it when people mention my family.

Kimagure Mercy: Oh, I understand. It's okay if you don't want to tell me. I'm okay with that.

Fate:Rebirth: Thanks for understanding. So, what about you?

Kimagure Mercy: Actually, my family is a topic I don't like talking about, either.

Fate:Rebirth: Looks like you and me have something in common. We don't like talking about our families.

Kimagure Mercy: Yeah.

???: Fabio! Are you up yet?

Fate:Rebirth: Oh, that must be one of my friends. I have to go.

Kimagure Mercy: That's alright.

Fate:Rebirth: It was nice talking to you, Katherine. And you too, Azalea.

Star Vocalist AS: Same here, Fabio.

Kimagure Mercy: Can we do this again someday?

Fate:Rebirth: Sure.

And with that, Katherine and Fabio signed off from Zoom.

Star Vocalist AS: Well, queen? What do you think of Fabio now that you've saw him in the flesh?

Kimagure Mercy: He's actually...kinda cute.

Star Vocalist AS: Ooh! I feel a crush coming on.

Kimagure Mercy: I don't know if he likes me back.

Star Vocalist AS: It can't hurt to ask. Why don't you meet him, in person?

Kimagure Mercy: That can be for another day.

Well, Tammy and I had another little talk about another Miku x Len shipping. And this popped into my head. I'll see you guys in the next story!
