Third person P.O.V.
While Izuku was finishing his therapy session, most of his friends and classmates found themselves lounging around in the common area of their dorm. Be it at the tables playing some card games and chatting or at the couches immersing themselves in small talk or browsing through their phone, the students of 1-A were enjoying their day off. Still, Bakugo was nowhere to be seen and no one wanted to know what Mineta was doing in his room. Apart from them, there weren't many others that were missing. Still, it was clearly obvious that Ochako was anxiously waiting for his return, as she kept staring out the dorm windows and glancing at her phone to check the time. Really not paying attention to anything that was happening around her, she groaned before asking mostly to herself "When does Deku's therapy session end?" Most of those around her had heard what she said, and before Todoroki could respectfully answer, a sassy voice coming from Ochako's left took her by surprise. "Bedhead will be back in a few. Don't let the fact that your prince charming isn't here get you down." Red. Crimson even. That was the colour of Uraraka's face as she turned around to look at her punk rock girl that was sitting on the other end of the couch who hadn't even looked away from her phone.
"J-jiro, i-it's not l-like that!" She covered her face with her hands but avoided touching it with her pinkies, avoiding the same incident that had happened a few months ago on their first week on the dorms. Finally diverting the attention from her phone, and noticing that the rest of her classmates were looking at Uraraka, she looked at her with an amused face before continuing. "Mhmm, yeah right. Look, Midoriya is great and I get that. When I asked him to help me with the organization of the festival he went above and beyond and didn't want a single thing in return. Plus, it helped he isn't the most confident around us, so I could just walk up to him and everything was alright. But you clearly see and feel more than that." Her teasing tone wasn't stopping and Ochako's face was getting darker and darker. Luckily for her, Mina also found herself at the couches, and although she loved teasing and gossip, this was a conversation between the girls and there were intruders present, so she had to divert the situation before her friend died from the amount of blood that rushed to her face.
"Hey Hey! Let's talk about our experiences with Midoriya! I'm pretty sure they are all positive with almost all of us, considering the type of guy he is. I'll go first. When he was learning to dance for the festival, even as bad as he was, he was putting so much effort and in fact, one night he came to me for extra help and we had a ton of fun! It took him a while to get used to my jokes but we got there." Uraraka was silently thanking Mina for the save right there while her face slowly but surely started to revert back to its natural colour, now listening intently at the stories about Deku that would be thrown into the conversation. "I once asked him help with studying for hero history and was amazed at his vast knowledge. Even when I asked him to repeat because I didn't understand, he smiled and went over it again. Clearly a kind soul in the times of darkness." The voice from the corner of the room took everyone by surprise, seeing as Tokoyami wasn't normally the chatting type, but still appreciated his participation.
Soon, everyone that found themselves at the couches had given some sort of anecdote with their green haired hero, and only two of them were missing, that being Todoroki and Uraraka. She had listened intently at how he helped everyone or how he put effort and befriended people easily. Deku truly was amazing. "Well, most of you know that Midoriya helped me with using my fire, but one time I was trying to reach for a book at the school library when suddenly Midoriya appeared and bumped into me. He looked up and apologized and then offered to help me to reach my book but I didn't know how he would do it because he is shorter and we couldn't use our quirks. Suddenly, he just crouched, grabbed my legs and sat me on his shoulders, without even using his quirk. I grabbed the book and he put me down, but how can someone so small be so strong without using his quirk. I still don't really understand it, and he didn't even break a sweat." Everyone laughed at Todoroki's story while he still tried to understand how the 'green bean', like Jiro called him at one point, was so stupidly strong. "Well Uraraka, how about you?"
Izuku P.O.V.
I was making my way back to the dorms after my session with Ms. Emi and us talking about social interactions. She said that the more that I could come out of my shell and socialize then it could be seen as an accomplishment and could also help my confidence. She really was great, and I really appreciated the amount of help she was giving me and the effort she put. 'I should get her something to thank her.' While walking, I crossed paths with Kacchan who didn't say a word, not even his natural scoff. I assumed he was on his way to see Hound Dog and I kept on going my way, even if I didn't like the new awkwardness between us. 'Yeah, we both suck at social stuff.' As I got to the dorm, I could hear a muffled voice through it and decided to slightly open it. "Every time I spent time with him was great. When we did the hero training he was so brave against Bakugo and every time since he's had this determination. And even when we walked home and he didn't speak, he still had this comfortable aura around him."
I couldn't help myself but feel my lips curve upwards after hearing her and the tears that were forming on my eyes. I waited a few moments while I wiped my eyes and let the chatter die down before I entered the dorms, smile still present as I walked in. 'I really am lucky to have them all here. To have her here.'
Heyo. I said there would be more fluff, and it's getting there. Also yeah, Todoroki's story is from a comic by Perdizzion that I came across on Twitter, don't come at me. Either way, in around twelve hours I'll post the next chapter and I am kinda forcing myself not to do a time skip but I might just do so cause I don't know what else to do and the end is close. Either way, see ya later peeps.
