~My Hylian~ (Revali x Reader)

Training (Day 1)

Y/N POV:
BEEP BEEP BEEP! I groaned and turned off my alarm on my Sheikah Slate. It was morning, and I was nervous as heck right now. Today will be the first day with training with Revali. Boy, this is sure to go well. I quickly got dressed and put my boots on. I don't think I needed anything else other than an apple for breakfast.

I went outside in the training grounds since that's where I'm supposed to meet him. My heart was racing, he is the least I want to spend time with. I found him near the woods, he looked like he was practicing. I also saw a wooden bow leaning on a tree.

"Finally, your here, I thought you would never come." He said refusing to look at me. "Well, you did told me to come at 8." "And I'm surprised you actually did." I rolled my eyes. He stopped training and finally looked at me. "We might as well start training. Show me what you know already." He said as he put his bow down and leaned on the tree. "But, I never even held a bow before, and I suck at it. I only get lucky if I hit something." He sighed heavily. "Just show me how you use a bow and stop complaining." He spat. I glared at him and tried to aim for the target. "Stop stop!" I put my bow down. "Your not even holding it right!" "Well then teach me wise one." I said sarcastically. He glared at me while he grabbed his bow.

"Hold it like this." He said while aiming for the target. I tried to do the same thing only to drop the bow thanks to my clumsy self. "Sketchy Hylian, your still not holding it right." "And your still not teaching me bird brain." "How else am I supposed to teach you?! I'm a champion not a teacher." "Well you should probably start acting like one then 'Champion'!" He groaned and pinched the bridge of his beak. "Try to aim again, and try to hit that target." He said pointing to a close target.

I held my bow again and tried aiming the target, only for the arrow to go like an inch away from me. I'm pretty sure I saw Revali smirk at this. I tried aiming again only for the arrow to go upward and almost hit Revali on the head. I snickered at this. "What are you doing trying to kill me or something?!" "Maybe I wouldn't 'try' to kill you if you actually teach me." "I'm trying to teach you, but it's hard to teach an arrogant Hylian like you."

I was started to get tired of this. "What is wrong with you?! Don't you have any respect?! Ever since the first day I met you, you have always been a jerk. I don't understand why you hate me and hate Link as well..but you are never respecting us and I-
"ENOUGH!" He yelled making me jump.

"You want to know why I'm like this?! Because of sketchy, arrogant Hylians like you! I'm always the one who's doing hard work and you Hylians get it so so easy! And your the one who's talking about respect, when all you had done was to just ask to be a hero, while I have to work so hard to earn the title champion! Yet I'm being treated as a sidekick! I never wanted to train you. Your a sketchy, arrogant, stupid, annoying Hylian that doesn't even need to work hard to earn the title of hero..so I hope that answers your questions 'hero.'

I was shocked, and I took a step back, I didn't even have any words to say. "Training is over." He said as he flew away. I felt tears prick down my eyes. I had no idea what he was going through, and I should've told him those things. It's my fault he snapped. I should've just kept my mouth shut. But still, he should've even said those things without knowing my life either. I also worked so hard to earn the title hero.

I wanted to talk to him. But one, I had no ideas where he is. And two, I don't even think he wants to talk to me. I decided to go look for him even though I had no idea where he was and how I'm going to find him.

I searched first in the castle, but couldn't find him anywhere in there, so I went outside to see if I could find him. I decided to look at the courtyard and I actually found him. He looked like he was training, aiming for the apples on the trees. I walked up to him but was nervous as heck. Scared if he would yell at me again.
