3rd Person POV
Autobot Base
"You know, I might not be the first human on Cybertron, but I can still be the first human exchange student," Miko was saying from on top of Bulkhead's shoulder.
Arcee and Dante exchanged looks, the latter having changed to his Cybertronian size.
"Why didn't you all tell us about the Omega Keys before?" Jack asked. "You told Katie."
"She was there for it," Dante replied, Katie nodding in agreement from her spot on the platform next to him and Arcee.
"And things have kind of been tense around here," Elita added.
"So... you guys could really be going home soon, huh?" Raf asked hesitantly.
"Don't worry Raf, we'll come visit," Miko assured him. "Once we get our place set up—he can bunk with us, right, Bulk?"
"Right next to Arcee's and Dante's," Katie snickered, earning embarrassed looks from both of them.
"Uh, Miko," Bulkhead started hesitantly.
"You are taking me with you, right?" Miko asked.
Bulkhead shifted uncomfortably.
"Aren't we getting ahead of ourselves here?" Ratchet demanded crossly. "Not only do we lack any actual method of reaching Cybertron, but Starscream now controls the sole means of our planet's restoration."
"As far as we know," Optimus stated.
"You think Starscream's rejoined the Cons?" Smokescreen asked.
Dante snorted. "Knowing him, High Heels probably went crawling back to Megatron with the Keys to get back his position."
Ratchet snorted. "That, or he might try to sell them to the highest bidder. It wouldn't surprise me if he had the nerve to contact us and—" he was cut off by an alert from a monitor.
"Okay, that's weird," Bulkhead said.
"Is it Starscream?" Arcee asked sharply.
"No," Ratchet said in surprise. "It is Dreadwing. And he wants to meet."
Mountain Range
A Groundbridge opened, and Optimus, Dante, Arcee, Elita, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead stepped through, weapons raised.
"Drop your weapon!" Bulkhead shouted.
"Hands where we can see them," Smokescreen added, aiming his blasters.
The sound of footsteps echoed behind them, and everyone turned as a familiar shape stepped through the fog.
"I am not here to fight," Dreadwing called. "But to give you this." He gestured to a familiar relic at his feet.
"The Forge of Solus Prime," Arcee said in disbelief.
"Could be rigged to blow," Bulkhead muttered.
"I don't think it is," Dante said, scanning the relic. "I'm not picking up any bomb signatures."
Optimus lowered his weapons. "Dreadwing, what do you ask in return?" he asked cautiously.
"Only that you use it wisely," Dreadwing replied.
"And?" Arcee asked. "The Omega Keys?"
"In Megatron's possession," Dreadwing stated. "Under heaviest guard."
"Scream did make a deal with the Cons," Bulkhead muttered.
"Why?" Optimus asked.
"A shadow of disgrace has been cast upon the Decepticons," Dreadwing proclaimed. "It is a cause I no longer wish to be part of."
