[Rocky's P.O.V.]
It felt great. Getting off the bus a few streets from school, I held John's hand tight- his hand was loose as if he wasn't really enjoying it. School bag in one hand and mine in the other, John looked sad, scared. He constantly twitched when a car drove past. Jumped at the sight of a dog, and he had two large dogs at home- his REAL home. 99 EastWood Crescent. Where his sister, dad, mum and two large collies- Bridget and Dobby. Not 186 WestWood Avenue. My thoughts began to stray and before I knew it I was standing at the school gates. A smaller girl stood in front of the school a messenger bag hung loosely over one shoulder. Her small feet stood firmly on the ground. Her long brown hair was straight and the wind blew her hair very lightly. She was very pretty too. Blue eyes sat just below her long fringe. Her lips quivered.
"Are you okay?" I spoke before I even knew what I was going to say.
She turned on her heel and looked at me. A soft smile spread across her face. She slowly walked forward.
"Actually," she spoke softly. "It's my first day here. I'm in the third year class, do you know who I should talk to?"
I smiled.
"You should talk to Miss Tyler. She'll help any kid." I laughed.
"We," I began. Turning round to refer to John. He was gone, already talking to people on the football squad. "I can take you there, if you want."
"We'd," she giggled. "I'd love that. My name's Megan- and yours?"
"Rocky, come on we want to get in before the rush."

Rocky seemed really friendly. His friend? Not so much. Miss Tyler seems nice too. I'll admit some of the guys here aren't bad looking. Including Rocky- what am I thinking he probably wouldn't like me. There's just something that makes me think he's different. Somehow.
"You alright?" He asked. "You've gone really quiet."
He smiled. I smiled.
"First day nerves, I guess." The bell rang to signal first period. Mathematics.
"You've got maths first, what teacher?"
"Mr Simmons," I replied.
"Follow me," He had told me that we had the same class. New school year, new seats.
Rocky sat at the back. I stood at the front, by the teachers' desk.
The, rather plump, Mr Simmons waddled into the room. And sat at his desk.
"Hi," I said. "I'm Megan. Is there a specific seat that I should-"
"Just sit at the back with Rocky," he interrupted. I turned around and slowly walked past five rows of kids staring at me. I sat down and endured the period of maths. And slowly trudged to the science block and endured yet another period. The bell finally signaled it was time for break and left the class as soon as I could. I sat on a bench in the communal area of the school. Pupils of all backgrounds flying past. I was alone. Then I saw two people walk over.
[Rocky's P.O.V.]
Maths was boring. I stared out the window daydreaming. Science wasn't any better. I searched the communal area for my two best friends, Erica and Ryan. They were a couple. They had been for almost three years. I finally saw them by a bench.
"Hi, guys," I cheered.
Erica turned around and saw me.
"Oh-My-God, I've missed you," she screeched. "Have you met-"
I knew who she was referring to.
"Yeah, Megan," I said. "She seems alright,"
Then, Dylan came over. She was a massive tomboy- but not a lesbian. She always had to point it out. She smiled widely.
"Have you seen, John?" She said. "Have you seen his neck,"
"Damn," I thought.
I nodded.
"Do you know where he got his lovebites from?"
It was me. But I can't just say it out loud.
"His ex done it," i said, slowly improvising. "They've broken up now."
I suddenly felt a tug on my school bag. It was John, I just knew it.
He dragged me downstairs and into an empty corridor with broken overhead lights that lit dimly spasmodically.
"We need to be careful," I said, pointing to the three red marks on his neck.
The black-eye had vanished. Make-up is a life-saver.
"We don't have long left," he said sternly. "Let's do this quickly,"
And he pulled me into his arms and kissed me. The feelings were overwhelming.
[Dylan's P.O.V]
Where did Rocky go? I didn't see him leave, or who with. Nobody did. I went downstairs to find two silhouettes in an, otherwise empty, corridor. The light in the corridor began flashing and i saw it. Rocky was kissing someone. Rocky was kissing a guy. Rocky was gay. And so is the guy he was with. But who?

A/N I hope this is a bit longer. I might get rid of two friends. But who?
