AERA SMILED UPON DOHYUN ANSWERING. Her eyes crinkled with glee. "Hi," she laughed out, her voice a gentle whisper as she sat up against her headboard. He smiled back. "Hey." She tucked her dark hair behind her ears, face still damp from washing it, and sighed. "I'm sorry if it's hard to hear me. The little ones are asleep." He nodded at her explanation. "That's alright. I'm just happy to talk to you." A silence fell between them as they stared back at one another. After a beat or two, Dohyun cleared his throat. The rustling of paper could be heard over the line before he settled into a comfortable position on his couch.

"I actually read ahead and you come in during the second episode. You snuck in after a long night and walk in on everyone tying up Jinwook hyung's character," he explained. He bit at the side of his thumb as he scanned over the script in his hands. "Okay," she hummed. She leaned over toward the floor where she kept her things, digging into her bag until she was able to retrieve her own script. "But we don't interact until there is a flashback. When your character meets mine." She moved back into her previous spot and flipped through the pages. "Your character is a bit of a potty mouth," he laughed, causing Aera to smile.

"Sumin is a complex character. She's had it rough," she replied with sympathy, revealing just enough of her connection with the character. "Do you want to start there?" She nodded upon finding the correct passage. She cleared her throat. Sumin enters the building, suitcases by her side. Her pants were torn at the knees, stained with her own blood, shirt tattered and torn. She moved her dark hair from her face, revealing the dark mascara trails across her cheeks. "What are you looking at?" she asked, eyeing the boy across from her. The two waited for the elevator, their reflections shown within the metal doors. "Nothing," Eunhyuk responded dryly, ducking his head. He pushed his glasses back up the bridge of his nose silently.
