~Allie's POV~
"Allie! Come on! It's time to head to the airport!," I heard my mom calling through the house.
I got my bag filled with my essential items and grabbed my phone. My mom and I were moving to England because of her job transfer. The only person I knew there was my cousin Leondre, but I called him Leo.
We drove to the airport and I realized that my life would never be the same.

Hours later we arrived at the airport to be greeted by Leo and his mum.
"Allie! Wow! You've grown so much, nearly passed me up!" said Leo. "Haha. It sure has been awhile Leo," I said embracing him into a hug.
Leo helped me get my bags into the car and drove us to our new house. I took in a deep breath and opened the front door. I went up the stairs and walked down a hallway into my new bedroom. All of my furniture was in my room so I plopped down onto my bed, Leo shortly followed. "Hey. I'll help you unpack if you want"
"Okay," I said half-heartedly.
"Do you mind if my friend Charlie comes to help? He's in your grade so you'll know at least one person."
"Yeah. That's cool. When will he be here?"
"He's actually outside right now. I just told him to come up."
Just as he finished his sentence a tall, blonde headed boy walked into my room.
"Hello. I'm Charlie. You must be Allie?"
"Um.. uh yeah." He nodded and Leo asked what I needed help with.

A few hours later we were finished and Leo, Charlie, and I walked to a pizza place downtown. "I love y'all's accents!"
"We like yours too cowgirl," replied Leo. We all laughed for a little bit before we recovered. "Hey! Just because I'm from Texas it doesn't mean you have to hate!"
"Haters gonna hate." Charlie said in a cheeky voice. We all laughed and talked for a little longer and than we went back home.

I was sitting on my bed when I saw my guitar sitting in the corner. I went and picked it up and began strumming cords and humming riptide by Vance Joy. My mom walked into my room and told me that Leo would be here in the morning to walk with me to school. I nodded and took a shower before I went to bed.
I think I'm going to like it here.
