The underground was always a nasty place, crime, killings, cold and wet 24/7. It was exhausting day in day out, crime lurking round every corner. Every alley a new type of hell, new disgusting people. It was so unbelievably gross, not a moments peace in that cesspit of an underground city. Although never a dull moment, but in all the wrongs ways.

The underground was split into different gangs and groups, these were the most dangerous places to be. Anybody could easily have you killed without leaving behind any trace, and you'd be forgotten by everybody. Nobody would batter an eyelid, you'd be erased from memory, never spoken about unless you had a death wish.

Death wasn't feared in this place, nobody could have cared less. People realized they had no reason to live, nobody had a significant purpose in life down in this hell hole. These people were traumatized to the point where nothing was feared. MP's invading their homes for the fun of it, terrorizing children, trashing the market. The gangs would quickly dispose of them, not until Kenny came around.

Kenny was only 15 when he became the most well-known serial killer in the underground. He slaughtered MPs and anybody who got in his way, all the gangs and groups feared the power of this man. Although the people saw hope, no more terrorizing, no more home invasions, no more market wrecks. This was their hero, Kenny Ackerman 'The God'. He became so powerful his name was even spoke about on the surface.

The surface is the place above the underground, where people, lived in the sunshine, with the birds and the rain. This is the place where the moon shone and the stars glistened throughout the night. This was heaven, paradise, freedom. Anything and everything the habitants of the underground wanted it to be, but they couldn't leave. They were seen as vile and nasty people, therefore, forced to stay in agony and suffering. Not even kenny could fight off that many people.

Although Kenny's power was unmatched, only one gang came even the slightest bit close, The Fallen Angels. This group sold drugs and alcohol, even though the crime was petty, the power wasn't. This group could find you from anywhere in the whole city within a couple hours, you don't ever try challenge these people or you may find yourself 6ft under. This gang was full of men passed down generations, all the women had given birth to men and men only thanks to a special drug they used to mutate the DNA, giving  them only male children. Any women of this gang refusing to take the drug, were killed. Simple as that. Although one fateful day, the mutation went wrong and they ended up with a girl. They couldn't kill her, they needed new members as they were running short on them, including short on women.

Even though she wasn't welcomed very nicely, she worked her way to the top and proved herself worthy. She proved she was better than any man that came across her path, and her name was Y/N L/N.

Y/N's POV

This is so fucking boring, of course they put me on patrol. Sexist assholes. Might as well go to the market, nothing ever happens on patrol. I can get Jordan (best friend) some apples like he wanted. Why the fuck does he like apples so damn much? They cost a fortune, I might just steal them. Nobody's gonna notice right? They're just apples.  Fucking disgusting

3rd POV

As Y/N walked through the city, she saw the usual rugrats messing in the streets, the slums, the drunks and the drug addicts. These were only just the commoners, there were so much more than that. So many loud and harsh sounds, not a moments peace. The ground was always wet and muddy the literal definition of the word moist (gross i know haha). Out of the blue, the most high pitched screeches erupted from the west side. Luckily, Y/N had ODM on them at all times in case of an emergency. They soared through the air making sure they didn't hit the sodded roof like structure above them. She made flew across the hell hole they all called a home.

She came across a murder-like crime scene, not like it was anything unusual. She went and hid behind a rotting building, she couldn't be seen. This wouldn't end well for her at all, being a witness would mean she'd have to be held hostage and killed. Information spreads like wildfire down here, people would be prosecuted and trust me it wouldn't be pretty.

She went through the rotted building and peered at the scene through all the holes and cracks. She had to be ever so careful of her step. Every step the risk of falling through the soggy floor, she watched as all the men and women started clearing out the bodies of these mp's (military police) The military police were a group of people that were supposed to be keeping the people of the underground in check and stop them from getting too rowdy.

Y/N's POV

Why the hell are there so many? who would do this? and why?

wait..

their throats are.. all slit open that-

that can only mean one thing..
