"i told you it was a mistake, i'm sorry." He says.
"Fuck you. I left my fucking family for you. I'm leaving," I walked through the doors of his house.
Mattia is- was my boyfriend, we've been together for a year and i found out last night he's been cheating on me for months and has been lying straight to my face.

I flew out here,left my family and bestfriend Melissa who i am still in touch with.
I was already planning on going to Ottawa tomorrow so i'll just go to my friend Roshaun's house since i have my things with me.
I called a uber and texted him that i'm coming over.

"Thanks for letting me stay." I said as i gave him a side hug.
"No problem, sorry about the Mattia situation i don't know what's up with him." Roshaun and Mattia are best friends. I smiled and went to sleep in the guest bedroom.

Next Day
I checked the time on my phone and it said we are landing in 30 minutes. I didn't tell my family i'm coming because i want to surprise them.

We landed finally. I had already called a uber so i can go home.

"Thank you!" I said getting out the car.
I grabbed my two suit cases and bag with me before he drove off. The neighbourhood looked the exact same and so does my house. Except there's new cars? I have not been in touch with my family so i'm confused.
I knocked on the door and waited a little bit.
It finally opened.
"Hi- who are you?" The tall pale boy asked.
"What? who are you? I live here.." I said confused.
"I live here.. My family and i moved in a last week." He says.
"Mar who is it-" Two figures said walking to the door.
"MELISSA?" I shout.
"NAILEA?" She shouts back before jumping in my arms.
"What the fuck are you doing back here." She asks me.
"Well i'm moving back and it was supposed to be a surprise." I smile.
"wait.. Nailea haven't you heard?" She says looking at me concerned.
"wait who is she?" The asian boy with curly hair asks.
These guys look familiar asf.
"My bestfriend that i'm always talking about." She says still upset.
"oh." the pale one says.
"wait so what we're you gonna say?" I ask her.
"your dad passed away 2 weeks ago."

"Oh shit that was her dad.." They boys said. I heard their voices echoing , i started to feel light headed and my eyes getting heavier.

I woke up with a headache on a couch,i looked around a familiar living room. Oh.. I'm in my "old house."
"You okay?" Everyone asks.
I felt my eyes getting blurry and a lump in my throat. I guess Mel realized cause she came over to me and hugged me.
"I re- remember the l-last thing he said t-to m-me." I stuttered with tears running down my face.
"Shhh it's okay Nai." She hugged me tighter.
Gosh this is embarrassing.
"h-he warned me about h-him. He said Nailea that boy is not good for you, and i said fuck off to him. That was the last thing i ever said to him." I cried out even more.

I felt bad for the girl. She's very beautiful. I admired her face features as she stood at the door-steps earlier.
"You can stay over the night, Samy and Melissa are already sleeping here. Oh i'm Mariano call me Mar."I told her.
"Are you sure. I don't want to disturb." She says wiping her tears away.
"yeah my parents aren't home." He smiles at me."
"and i'm Samy, call me BESFRANNNN." Samy said making her laugh.
Samy is my bestfriend. More of a brother to me tho, and he's talking to Melissa. I'm happy for the 2.
"Alright besfrannn." She says cheered up already.
"that's the spirit Nai, wait what happened to you and Mattia?" Melissa asks her.
Mattia? Samy and I look at eachother.
"Wait?Mattia?" I ask.
"Yeah he's my- my ex." She looked over at us.
"That's why you look so familiar." Samy says to her.

A few hours later.
The 3 of them have been cheering me up. I'm planning on calling my family tomorrow and enjoy the night. We watched a movie in Mar's room which is my little sisters old one. Samy and Melissa were knocked out.
We're on his bed, we managed to fit.
"Omfg Samy is snoring." Mar laughed making me laugh.
"Shut up let him be." I said still laughing. He faced to me.
"If you don't mind me asking why didn't you know your family moved and where were you coming from."Ge said confused.
"Oh umm.. Well last year i met Mattia on tiktok and i visited him because we were talking. I moved there without my family knowing. I basically ran away. I called them to let them know and you know kinda what h-happened." He placed his hands on mine making me feel butterflies. I just smiled."and 2 days ago i found out he's been cheating on me for months so i confronted him and here i am." I told him.
"wow, that's terrible you shouldn't have gone through that." He says.
"Tell me about you."I smiled at him.
"Well i've lived here in Ottawa my entire life. I have a little sister named Mariceli she's 14 and a older brother Pablo he's 19. I'm from Spain-"
"You're Latino?" I cut him off confused.
"Yes i'm a white latino." He laughed.
"WAIT YOU'RE THATWHITELATINO." I whisper yelled, and we both started laughing.
