I yawned as I opened my eyes. Stretching as much as I could in the little space, a smile crept onto my lips. We were almost there.
I looked back and saw that xander and Molly were both asleep, like I was not even a few minutes ago. And lastly, I let my eyes shift to Hikaru. He had taken over driving less than half way through, and I felt kind of bad, but he just said that he liked driving, and I should rest.
"Morning." He said without looking away from the road, his cocky grin planted on his face.
" where are we?" I asked, sitting up Right and rubbing my eyes.
" about ten minutes from the hotel." He said, looking forward.
"You were suppose to wake me up when we ran out of gas..." I accused. We were suppose to trade every time we stopped for gas, since he took over at a gas station. And I looked down at the gas tank, it was a little over half full. So he ignored the agreement and drove all night?
"I wasn't tired. Plus, you looked so at peace while you were asleep. How could I possibly wake you up?" Gosh, I hate when his excuse involves me.
" that's not an excuse. You should have woken me up." I said, turning to look away from him, pouting. My eyes widened when we passed a building and the view changed to the open ocean. My mouth gasped with out my control. I sat up in my seat to try to take in the view. I've never been to the sea. I quickly turned to the back, shaking the kids awake.
"Molly, Xander! Wake up. Look at the ocean!!" I said excitedly. It was beautiful. The kids opened their small eyes, and slowly looked to the ocean. They snapped awake, like how I did. I turned back to look at the beautiful endless blue in the morning Sun. The waves crashed to the shore, and created fluffy white clouds at the edge of the sand and water. If you looked hard enough, you could make out the shadows of what looked like dolphins in the water. They rushed under the surface before they rushed up to leap above the waves. The kids squealed at the sight.
" It's early, so you can see more of the sea animals than you will after we get to the hotel, so enjoy the view. " Hikaru said, though I barely heard him above the sound of the kids squealing and shouting the types of animals they could see. I looked over at him with a smile on my face. He planned this. I know he did. He planned out when we were leaving, and insisted he drive. Which I felt bad about, so I insisted that we at least take turns. It took forever to get him to agree. But now I see why.
He stayed watching the road, but I caught his quick glance over to me. That sly little devil.
When we got to the hotel, we got a penthouse suite. And it was way to much to handle. I mean, I'm still not use to how big the mansion is, and even though it's a lot smaller, the place was much more luxurious than my old house.
There was a main room, with a kitchen, living room, and dinning room all connected. The place was clean, and obviously well maintained. Branching off from the main room, was three bedrooms. In each bed room there was a large bed, a big T.V., and a dresser. Well, except the smallest one, which had two twin beds, two small dressers, and a smaller tv with a DVD player attached.
"Did you rent this place? Or did you buy it?" I asked. Not like it was out of his price range.
"Actually, I own this building. The penthouse is for my personal use when I want to get away for a little while." I heard him walk behind me. His arms were warm as he wrapped them around my waist. I smiled and leaned into him, placing my arms over his. My hands linking to his.
" though I do admit to having the place customized a bit. Make it safer for the kids." I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck. I gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
"By the way, Xander's and Molly's birthday is coming up. So I was wondering if we could have a party at your mansion. I think all the kids would have a lot of fun in such a big house." when Hikaru frowned, I was worried he would say no.
"Akito, I've told you plenty of times, it's not my house. Its ours. Your my boyfriend, and my lover. What's mine is your. What's yours is mine. If you want to through a party for you little brother and sister, go ahead. Just give me a little warning so I can have some rooms locked. Can't have the kids running around all the rooms." he said before smiling again. I think my smile was much brighter than his though. I loved it when he called me his boyfriend.
When the kids came running in, yelling about all the cool things they have found. I blushed and pushed Hikaru away. I smiled at the kids and let them pull me around to demonstrate all the gizmos and gadgets. They were excited to go to the beach, but since our weekend trip turned into a week long trip, I told them we would spend the first day unpacking and getting use to the place. At dinner time, Hikaru was going to shows us a nice restaurant.
I know what Hikaru is doing, and frankly, I love him twenty times more for it. He knows how important the kids are to me, and he has been slowly trying to earn the kids trust. He talks with them about what they like, dislike, what they want to be, what they want to do. He even started having dinner with me and the kids when he isn't at work late.
And he stopped ordering me around. Well... As bad as it might sound, he still does it in bed. I mean, I guess after getting use to it, I liked it. He takes over, so I don't feel insecure. And I know he likes it, so I don't mind it.
When the kids were running around like wild animals, I decided it was time to venture out of the room. I told the kids to get their swimsuits on, and that we would go down to the pool. Hikaru was asleep on the bed. Probably exhausted from driving all night. While the kids went to there room to change, I moved into Hikaru's room. I sat down on the edge of the bed, next to Hikaru. I placed my hand along his jaw, tracing it before moving up to his lips. Leaning down, I place a small kiss on his lips. He steered a little before his eyelids fluttered open. He inhaled deeply, stretched his long arms and legs, before relaxing and and smiling at me. He still looked tired.
"Hey" He grunted out, his voice rough and dark.
"Hey. I just wanted to let you know that me and the kids are going down to the pool. Didn't want you worrying if you woke up." I said, a small smile on my lips.
"Thanks for that." he said, rubbing his eyes. I leaned down and planted another kiss on him.
"I'll see you later." he smiled and nodded before turning onto his side and closing his eyes.
I left the room, only looking back as I shut the door. The kids were waiting in the living room, their goggles and their sinking toys.

Ok guys. You all asked for it, and I wasn't exactly happy with the ending of "why did you want me master" so here you go. Now you have a sequel. And let me say this. For the first one, I was kind of just writing to write. Bordom and amusement went into that story. But this one... I have plans for this one. I'm so excited. And since I know where I'm going with it, it will be easier to write. I'm also giving myself at the most, a mouth to write each chapter. So hopefully, I can stick to that and the story will have constent updates.
I hope you all will enjoy this story as much as I'm going to have writing it.
Congrats on helping me find out what to do now that my last good story was completed.
Senserly, your lovely author,
Starla!
