"It's not even winter," Shinobu thought as Kanao stared at the rope confused as well. Shinobu hid it under her haori despite feeling water melting from it, including the snow trail seeming to head to the headquarters but forgot about it due to having to attend the demon slayers that had accidentally turned into spiders along with Kanao informing the kakushi where to go.

"Wake up! You are in the presence of the Hashira!" yelled out a Kakushi. Tanjiro looked around wondering who these eight people were since he already remembered who Giyuu was. It suddenly popped in his head that Nezuko was nowhere to be found along with Inosuke and Zenitsu. He began calling out for then but was interrupted by Shinobu,

"This is the Demon Slayer headquarters. And you, Tanjiro Kamado are to be put on trial."

"There is no need for a trial, protecting a demon is against the rules!" exclaimed Kyojuro Rengoku.

"I'll cut off his head with style!" yelled out Tengen Uzui.

"Killing such a cute kid pains me too much..." Mitsuri Kanroji said to herself.

"What pitiful children. How sad they were even born" said Gyomei Himejima.

"Those big fluffy clouds, what are they called again?" thought Muichiro Tokito.

"Let is kill them!" Tengen, Gyomei, and Kyojuro said in unison.

"Forget about him. What are we going to do about Tomioka? According to Kocho, he's just as guilty. Just seeing him walking freely makes me sick" pointed out Iguro Obanai. Giyuu was standing alone in the corner avoiding the responsibility of having to talk like always but he had his reasons. Everything was already handled but of course no, one knows about it besides Urokodaki, Tanjiro, Oyakata-sama, and himself. Or so he thought.

"We'll come up with a punishment for him later, I'm more interested in the boy's story," Shinobu said. Tanjiro began coughing and so Shinobu came up to him giving him water to drink and letting him know that his jaw was broken so he had to drink slowly. After catching his breath he spoke up,

"My sister turned into a demon but has never eaten any humans! Nezuko will never hurt anyone!" he said.

"The Master of this mansion must be aware of this, shouldn't we wait until he gets back?" Mitsuri asked but was then stared at confusedly.

"Say, this is getting interesting," added Sanemi Shinazugawa as he stormed in carrying the box Nezuko was in. Shinobu then got serious and warned him.

"Shinagawa don't do anything irrational." Giyuu then became aware that a huge mess was about to happen but surprisingly became distracted.

"Why does my head hurt so much?" he thought to himself. It was indeed surprising due to not having one in a long time especially getting somewhat sick. He hadn't been focusing on the commotion happening ahead of him so when he smelled blood he turned to see Tanjiro making his way to Sanemi and attack him. He immediately called out,

"Stop the Master will be here soon!" which shocked everyone including himself at his sudden outburst. Tanjiro then landed a headbutt on him making Mitsuri stifle back a laugh.

"If you can't tell the difference between a good demon and a bad demon, then you shouldn't be a Hashira!" yelled out Tanjiro. Making even Sanemi himself pause for a brief second.

"Why you; your dead," he said but at that moment it was announced the master had arrived.

"I have accepted Tanjiro and Nezuko. And I want everyone else to do the same" Oyakata-sama said very seriously to indicate the importance of this favor. Everyone began disagreeing with his statement while leaving Shinobu quiet and processing what he had just said. Giyuu on the other hand stayed silent as usual waiting for everything to be over so he could find an escape. He had been finding himself reminiscing a lot this month which is something he didn't want to be going through, he hated being reminded of the past he went through as a child. His comrades have somewhat heard a summary about his past but not everything very clearly. Of course because whenever they tried to get the male to talk, no words would come out. The only people who knew his story were Urokodaki and Oyakata-sama. At least that was what the Master had believed in but being the observing man he is, sensed an untold part from him and felt something stronger coming from him that seemed to leave him astonished or perhaps curious, to say the least about what is hidden within him. The meeting seemed to pass by in a blur as the letter of Giyuu's former sensei, Urokodaki was read aloud,
