I sang and danced along the beat of the song. I was in a happy mood today I felt like dancing. I danced a lot when I'm happy. I was home alone, Tyler was in the cafe with mom he said he wanted to hang out there today and I can't complain I get to blast the speakers and get lost in the music while I flexed a little bit.
The music stopped and I stopped dancing, my phone is ringing. Aghhh who dares to disturb me when I'm doing my thing? I picked my phone and saw Darin facetiming me.
"Hey you" I said
"Not calling me Weirdo today?" We both laughed and I didn't miss his perfect smile showing his perfect teeth. Is he a god or something?.
"Well I could go back to Weirdo"
"I'm joking come on. You good?"
"Yeah I'm great how about you?" and he scratched his head. From what I've noticed he only did that when he's about to say something he's not sure about.
"I kind of miss you can we go for ice cream?" I laughed at him.
"Darin it's 0 degrees outside and you wanna go for ice cream?" See why I call him Weirdo? I giggled. The weather was a little harsh today and apparently it was going to last for the rest of the weekend.
"Okay coffee? Just something Tamara" he's such a weirdo I tell you.
"Fine but you should know you disturbed me from my dancing I want pizza" I'm hungry as well.
"Wait you dance?" His cute small eyes were wider now.
"Yeah Weirdo come pick me up I'll put on a jacket" I hung up and turned off the speakers and went upstairs to pick up a jacket.
I was wearing a long sleeved white top and brown sweat pants. I took out my light brown jacket. I need a beanie too, guess I'm going brown today. I took an animal print brown beanie, it's the warmest. I need boots too. I took the brown ones. Okay I'm good. I went downstairs and sat on the couch waiting for Darin.
I decided to text mom just in case she comes back early. It was a Friday afternoon and at 9pm Jasper was landing.
He said I shouldn't pick him his family already booked an uber to take him to his hotel. Yup he couldn't be staying with us and he said he'd explain in the morning. Well I guess I'll see him tomorrow.
Me: mom I'm going out I'll be back before dinner though
5 minutes later
Mom: going out with Jasmine? It's okay you girls be safe okay.
Me:😅😅no mom not with Jas.
Mom:🤨 you didn't tell me you had new friends.
Me: 😁😁 just one
Me: his name is Darin
Mom: 😀😀you finally got a boyfriend?
Mom: thank God I thought something was wrong with you.
What? Something wrong with me? What's wrong with me being single?
Me: Mooom🤦🏻♀️ we're not dating he's just a friend relax and what's wrong with me being single?
Mom: everything is wrong. Tamara you're 17 your mates have more than 5 ex's already
Me: okay I'm not having this conversation with you mom it's just making me feel uncomfortable. Bye😘😘
Mom:😂😂 I wasn't intentionally doing that sweety sorry. I just want you to explore new things now. You're old enough to be having fun you know. Not the unhealthy fun but just live a little. But if you get pregnant I'm kicking you out of my goddamn house.
