I woke up this morning at 6:30 like always but today I didn't feel the same as every other day.
I got up, and got dressed. I went to eat breakfast but no one was home but my little brother auggie. I thought that was weird because my mom was always there in the morning. "Auggie. Where is mom?"
"She had to leave early today for work." Said auggie.
" oh. Ok."
I walked to get some thing to eat when my best friend maya walked in the door. "Hi riley, where's your mom?" Said maya.
"She had to leave early for work."
"Then how is auggie going to get to school?" Said maya.
" I don't know. How are you auggie going to get to school?" I said to auggie.
"Dad is coming back to take me to school" said auggie.
"Ok, well riley we have to go." Said maya.
"Ok. Bye auggie be safe."
"Bye riley." Said auggie.
We walked out of my house. I was so hungry but I tried not to think about it.
We got onto the subway, when I saw someone, he was really cute, and I pointed him out to maya. I think I started to blush.
When we were standing in the subway car, he was sitting right over there, I could feel myself start to blush again. I turned away so he didn't see. "Maya he's right over there, am I blushing?"
"Yes you are." Said maya.
She grabbed my hand and pulled it off of the poll I was holding onto. I went backwards and landing on him. I could feel myself blush again but this time he saw it "hello I'm Lucas." He said.
I just sat on his lap and said nothing, finally I said "I'm sorry my friend pushed me."
I got off his lap and went back to maya. "MAYA! "
"What?" Said maya.
"Why did you do that?"
"I could tell you like him."
I just looked at maya with an angry face.
The subway cart stopped and I flung forward, we got off the subway car when a hand grabbed my arm and turned me around, and there he was looking at me. I didn't know what he was going to say, I was nervous, so nervous.
Before he opened his mouth I broke free and ran to maya. I looked back and he saw still standing there. I felt bad, like what if he just wanted to talk to me. But I turned back around and kept walking.
When we got to school I went to my locker. I grabbed my history books and went to Maya's locker. "Hey maya, that boy on the subway he seems weird."
"Riley don't say that you can tell he was into you."
We started to walk to history class but maya went in front of me and walked into the class before me when I ran into someone and I said "I'm sorry."
"No need to be sorry." He said
He put his hand on my chin and lifted my head up. He was starring at me with his brown eyes. I could feel my cheeks turning red again. He started to open his mouth to talk when....
