(For Lilah's chapters she's fifteen until said otherwise, just to make this easier 😁)

A sharp pull of my hair made me cry out.
"What we plan to do with you is for us to know and you to find out." The first male, the one with brown hair and green eyes spoke, his hand still gripping my hair.
The second male knelt in front of me, holding out a cup. He didn't seem to notice the other man glaring at him as he held the clear cup to my lips. "Drink. You need it."
I looked at him, a look of doubt on my face. Like hell I'd drink whatever they offered me.
He sighed. "It's not drugged." He took a drink of the water and swallowed it. "See? Now drink before you pass out." He held the cup back up to my lips.
I drank the entire thing in about thirty seconds, water dripping from the corner of my mouth.
He stood and set the cup on a small table near the door.
"Now," The first male spoke again. "I have no intent of keeping you tied up while you're down here but if you try and escape or fight either of us I will tie you to the pipes."
I glanced around, looking at what I thought was an entirely empty room. I was wrong. A small cot sat in the corner and there was a second door across from the one that led upstairs.
"Bathroom." The ginger haired male nodded to the second door. "Shower and all."
I kept my face neutral, easily hiding my surprise.
A low chuckle to my left, the original man. "We don't want our house guest to be filthy and dirty do we?" He grabbed my hair at the root. "If you somehow escape we will find you and we will kill you. Understand?" I could feel his breath against my face, feel myself starting to shake.
"Gale. Stop it. You'll scare her to death before you can do anything. Untie her and leave her be for now. You have time for threats later." Gale. That was his name. I said nothing.
Gale rolled his eyes but let go of my hair. "Fine. You're going to cooperate with us girl."
I glared up at him. "Go to hell." I spat in his face, a smirk growing on my lips.
His fist connected with my jaw, sending a jolt of pain through my face. "You little bitch-"
The other man grabbed his arm as he raised his hand. "Gale. Don't. You'll break her before we have time to have any fun." He let go of his arm. "Now go."
Gale growled lowly. "Don't do anything stupid Cairn." He turned and walked out, the door slamming behind him.
"Wouldn't dream of it." Cairn muttered, rolling his eyes. He looked at me and walked over. He stepped behind me and knelt down, untying my wrists.
I brought my hands in front of me, my wrists red and bruised.
He grabbed my wrist, making me wince.
I wrenched my hand out of his grip. "Don't touch me you bastard."
His hand wrapped around my neck from behind, his fingers digging into my throat. "You don't get a say in what happens here." He tightened his grip, slowly cutting off air.
I gasped, clawing at his fingers.
"Understand?" His grip kept tightening.
I couldn't speak, so I nodded, still trying to get him to let go.
He let go and pushed me so I was on my stomach, standing and walking over to the door. Walking through, closing and locking it.
I didn't bother screaming. I knew they wouldn't keep me where people could hear me. Even if they did, the basement walls were probably soundproof.
So I just cried, burying my face in my arms and near silently mumbling the names of my parents and siblings. Unless I could somehow get out I knew I'd never see him again.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I sobbed over and over again. Technically it wasn't my fault but a layer of guilt settled over me. Was it worth fighting? I didn't know.
