Knee Injuries;

"I just don't understand why you'd get involved with the Slytherins," Alex said as we walked down the corridors.

"I'm not, Alex. They think they're superior and for what, they were rude and I put them in their place," I explained.

Alex and Wren rolled their eyes as we walked to the Great Hall. Miranda wanted to skip lunch and get in an hour's nap which we understood.

The Great Hall was packed, too packed. The sixth-years were all here which surprised me but I assume they wanted to catch up.

Examining the hall, I notice Ginny Weasley sitting on the Gryffindor table. "You coming, y/n?" Wren asked as they motioned to the Hufflepuff table.

"I'll be there in a second, I'm going to say hi to Gin," I tell them and they nod their heads.

I fast walk towards their table and plop myself in front of her. "Oh my god, y/n!" She exclaimed and I chuckled as I gave her a high five.

"Hello, Gin. How was your summer?" I asked, giving a small wave to her friends around her.

"It was good. You remember Dean right?" She pointed to the boy next to her who was busy in conversation with Seamus.

She sighed before turning around to face me, "We're dating." She didn't seem too happy about it but I shrugged it off for now. "That's so cute, how long?" I asked.

"A few weeks, nothing too big," she let me know and I nodded.

Dean was a lovely guy but he didn't seem too interested in Ginny which made me sad a little. She was an amazing girl and anyone was lucky enough to have her.

"How was your summer though?" She suddenly asks, breaking me out of my thoughts.

I laughed it off, "It was good. I didn't do much though." She nodded in agreement as she took a piece of toast and plopped it in her mouth.

Ginny and I talked for a few minutes before I decided to head back to my table, I didn't want to leave my friends there alone for too long.

Once I arrived at the table, I sat next to Wren who sat opposite Alexander. "Were you talking to Ginny Weasley?" Alex asked, pointing his head towards where I just was.

"Yes, I was. How come?" I asked, taking a slice of pizza off the table and onto my plate.

"Nothing. I heard she's the new co-captain alongside Harry. I'm quite stressed," he sighed and I rolled my eyes.

I wasn't going to lie, our team wasn't the best. But we learn from our mistakes which only makes us stronger.

"I should congratulate her. Their team is amazing," I praised.

Alex and Wren rolled their eyes but agreed with my statement. They had Harry as their seeker and he is amazing at his position. I've watched their practices before and they work really hard.

I felt Wren elbow me in my side and I looked up to see him smirking. "Your prince just arrived," he snickered as he pointed behind Alex's head.

I looked up to see Draco along with his friends sitting down exactly opposite from me. He looked up and winked at me which sent shivers down my spine.

Alex turned back around and gave me a look. "What?" I asked, looking at my best friend. "You're not going near him, y/n. They're all bad news," he said which made me I rolled my eyes.

"I know that. He's just a git." I raised my voice slightly louder just so he could hear that last bit. I didn't dare look up, what I said was true.
