Laosi was an island located in the northern pacific ocean. Of course, not many people have heard about it, but there are many reasons for that. After the first world war, the Japanese government was testing out a nuclear weapon that could be useful to them for war. They located Laosi and tested the nuclear weapon. They dropped the weapon but it failed to explode, but what the biggest problem was that they also failed to know that there were people living on the island. The weapon released the nuclear radiation though, which spread quickly amongst the country.
After a few years, many of the civilians started to pass away due to the radiation, but there were some that survived. It wasn't until five years later, that they showed to have special abilities due to the nuclear radiation. Some people started to be more flexible, others had the ability to be stronger or more agile. The generations started to have better traits and because of this, the country's economy started to grow. The population also increased due to some immigrants and the land prospered.
But there were problems as always. Now that these people had special abilities, some began to grow greedy in power and wealth. The criminal rate started to increase vastly and the government started to decrease in power. That was, until a new police system was created. They called themselves the EDG (The Elite Defence Group). They consisted of using many powerful individuals to fight crime. Of course, many of them had the mutations, but a few others were regular people who worked there, since the country consisted of about twenty percent of the population being mutated by the radiation.
After the EDG was created, the crime rate started to decrease slowly over the years, until the present day, where things started to change. It was a new generation, with more advanced technology and mutants. Some people nowadays started to be born with psychic powers and other incredible abilities, though some still lacked power. The EDG started to grow more powerful by the day, even to the point where the government wasn't even able to do much. Laosi and its people decided that it would be best to have no government and have the EDG agency in charge. There was a huge debate and finally, the EDG was successful and the government came to an end.
The EDG grew more in power than ever, but something was wrong. The crime rates were still at regular points and the amount of victims were increasing, but no one seemed to notice. The association began to grow greedy and started to shift into a bad position. There was a lot of stealing from them as well as a lot of dishonesty. The laws began to change, but they convinced people it was for the better good, but not everyone at least. Here is the story of an agent, who changed the counor even the world.
