Hagrid sighed as Albus puts young Harry down on the Dudley's pouch, he knew it was for the boy's safety but that didn't mean he had to like it. Now to figure out who to leave Sirius's baby with, she is a couple months younger then Harry but for the same reason that Harry has to stay with his aunt and uncle, we need to find a place to keep River safe. We couldn't leave her with the Dudley's, we didn't think they would take her in like they would Harry. I said
"It is a foolish option, but it is the only option we have. We have to leave her with Lucius, Narcissa and Draco. They will take care of her and Draco and River can grow up together" they agreed so we went there and explained the situation to them, Lucius was hesitant but Narcissa finally got him to agree. We handed her over and we all agreed that when her and Draco went to Hogwarts that she would use Malfoy as a last name.
*11 years later*
Harry and River lived very different lives, while Harry was living under the stairs, River was playing with her cousin and having the time of her life. She said
"Dray are you excited for Hogwarts?" He nodded and said
"Extremely! I know I'm going to get into Slytherin" She grinned as they waited for Lucius and Narcissa to come get them to go to Dagon Alley. (I think that's how you spell it. I'm sorry if it's not). They finally came and Narcissa said
"Come, we are going to go get your school supplies and your wands."
Author note: Hey guys, you guys can choose which house River gets into. I'm having trouble choosing between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. Also who should River end up with? The highest year I will go up to is 4th year which is the year Cedric is in at the moment.
