"𝓐𝓵𝓻𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽, we're starting a new project. It will be a group project. Some may be partnered up with one person, or a multitude of people. Now, I'll announce who's with who." Aizawa's mini-speech was cut short as he pulled out a clipboard.
Katsuki muffled out the cluttered whispers around him. Trying to focus on who he would have as a partner. Aizawa usually let the class pick out their partners or groups, each usually joining their cliques.
Unfortunately, Katsuki was always working alone.
But, he was excited. Maybe, just maybe, he could make a friend. And hopefully, not be grouped up with someone who beats on him regularly.
"Katsuki Bakugo with Ejiro Kirishima." Katsuki perked up at the sudden hearing of who his partner will be.
Maybe I can try and fix our friendship
Looking over towards Kirishima's desk, he saw the redhead looking at his desk in disgust.
Katsuki's once vibrant expression dropping at the sight.
"Get to work." As everyone scrambled together to work with who they were assigned with, Katsuki looked back at Kirishima. Who was beginning to walk towards his desk.
Shining his smile towards him, Kirishima only looked away with annoyance.
"Kiri!" A call from across the room sparked both of their attention. Sero, Kaminari, and Mina were grouped as they surrounded a desk.
"You should come work with us, man! I'm sure Sensai wouldn't mind." Sero stated, waving his hand over at him.
"Or care," Kaminari whispered out, the trio laughing slightly. Staring at the group, Kirishima shifted his eyes back at Katsuki.
Already knowing what decision the redhead would make, Katsuki let out a shaky sigh. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out a ripped notebook, opening it to a blank page and getting started on the note-taking.
Hesitation ran over Kirishima's body. Slowly looking back towards the three, he had soon taken notice of their behavior towards the jade haired male. Sero and Kaminari were giving him the death glare, while Mina just smiled over at Kirishima, blatantly ignoring Katsuki.
Looking right back at Katsuki, the boy looked up to meet with his eyes. Katsuki side-eyed the group, before looking back at his notebook. And with that, Kirishima trudged towards the group. The trio cheering with excitement.
