Violet smiled after remembering what happened that day, but soon her smile faded after noticing the bittersweet look on Jade's face.

"Are you okay? Jade?" Violet asked and placed her hand on Jade's arm to get her to look at her. It can't be really explained but Violet truly cared about the girl and appreciated her friendship. And ever since her conversation with Clementine she couldn't help but start to focus on whether everything Jade said or did had an ulterior motive.

"For a long time I wasn't okay Vi...until I met you." Jade sniffed and looked down, she knew she had to get a hold on her emotions and that she should just stop talking all together before exposing herself further.

"Jade..you know I can proudly say that I know you better than anyone else here, but still you didn't open up that much about your past. Is this what's bothering you? Did you remember something bad?" Violet asked gently.

"It's not that Violet." Jade now looked at her. "But you can be too oblivious sometimes, even to your own true feelings." Jade chuckled. She was playing with fire here and she was probably on the verge of just letting her feelings out, regardless of what the result may be. She had had enough of being hurt by the sight of Violet and Clementine together and not being able to do something or have Violet.  She knew ever since she saw them together that there was something going on between them but she hoped that maybe this would change, that what ever she felt for Violet may open her eyes and show her that this is where she really belongs, that she belongs with Jade.

This caught Violet's attention and her heart skipped a beat at the fact that Jade might mean something more behind her words, she definitely didn't feel the same way about her but she cared deeply and it scared her that if Jade told her she has feelings for her, she wouldn't know how to not hurt her. And she hated hurting the people she cared about.

"What do you mean Jade?" Violet asked carefully.

"It took you a year to realize that you cared about me, and then it took you another year to become my best friend..and I'd wait for however long it takes. But I wonder, how long will it take for you to finally realize that I-" Jade was interrupted and couldn't finish her bold statement, she didn't know whether to be thankful she didn't expose herself that much or to be angry that the world didn't let her have her great moment of confessing everything to this beautiful blonde girl that turned her world upside down.

"Walkers!" Willy screamed from the top of the guard tower, and both Violet and Jade didn't hesitate to pull out their weapons and go to work.

There were about 8 walkers but with the help of Aasim and Willy, they managed to kill them all and pile their bodies together and set them on fire.

After that was over Violet saw Clementine walking out of the greenhouse alongside Ruby, they were immersed in a deep conversation and both seemed to be happy and laughing to notice the others walking in the gate and the smoke and the smell from the burning bodies. But soon Clementine turned her head and saw them all walking in and the gate closing behind them, she saw Violet covered in blood and quickly made her way to her.

"Are you okay Vi?" She asked her as she grabbed her arms gently and checked her out.

"I'm okay baby." Violet smiled gently at her and took her hands in her own and placed a gentle kiss on the back of her right hand.

Jade saw this and a look of hurt flashed across her face that didn't go unnoticed by Violet, which proved to her that this girl definitely had feelings for her. Why else would seeing her be affectionate with Clementine hurt her?

"We're fine too thanks for asking!" Aasim smirked sarcastically at the two girls and made his way to Ruby. His relationship with her was serious to the point where he was about to propose to her. He just didn't know when or how.
