Summer lays in her bed crying softly and quietly. Her face is stain from her tears as she choke in her sob " I'm just a waste of space and someone like me doesn't deserve to live."

Her tears falls more rapidly as she put her hands on her face. Thinking about what everyone said to her and even her parents. When she was younger her parents blamed her on their misfortune and nearly killed her. Not long before her family disowned her and kicked her out of the house at age five. Summer had to live in the forest for most of her life and every time she comes contact with people. They would see her with great hatred in their eyes and attack the girl without hesitation. A year later the orphanage found her and took her in ,but her life turn worse. They forced her to work hard without any rest or food. Every time she fell down ,they would whipped the poor girl until there was a puddle of blood near her. Once a family adopted her. Summer could been more happier. Her adopted family has kindness in their eyes ,but once she enter the house. A flash of hatred wash though their eyes as they attacked Summer and yelled at her with bitterness in their voice. Once she turn fifteen, she ran away from her family and join ranger school. In hope to get away from her past ,but it always comes back to bite her. School didn't do anything better. Summer's classmates bullied her and attacked her like her family would. They would shout hateful comments and threatens to kill her. Only a few people became her friend and stand up for her.

"Why do people hate me so much" Summer whisper as her voice cracks "Maybe I'm better off dead....I'm just a burden to others.." She pulls out a knife from her dresser and starts cutting herself. The blade piercing her skin as a warm red liquid flows out. She hears the voices of her past.

"DAMN IT SUMMER! You can't do anything right! Your nothing ,but a burden!"

" Go to hell where you belong!"

"You're not my daughter! I NEVER wanted you in the first place!"

"You shouldn't be alive!"

"Stay out of my life! I never want to see you again!"

"Get out of my life hag! Look what you have done!"

" Why did we adopt this thing! She isn't even human!"

The door slowly shows and behind reveals a girl around Summer's age. "Summer?" She open the door even more and than gasp once she saw what her friend was doing "Summer! What are you doing?!" The girl took the bloody knife away from her and stare at her and than the bloody knife in her hands.

Summer looks at her friend with pain in her eyes and loss of hope "What does it matter to you Kate? I have to live with the pain I feel everyday....."

Kate shake her head as she grab Summer's arm and starts dragging her away "Summer! I care about you! I'm your friend and this gone far enough! Summer you need help!"

"No I don't! And its not like anyone cares about me..." Summer whispers looking down at ground with tears forming in her eyes.

"Summer! There are people who care about you! Ben cares a lot about you! So does Keith! And I wouldn't be a good friend if I let you kill yourself" Kate scowls surprising Summer. She never seen her so angry. She was speechless as Kate continues " You need to talk to someone! You know you can talk to us! Summer we're worry about you and can't stand you being depressed...."

"K-Kate....." Summer looks up at her friend with a hint of shock in her eyes.

Kate didn't say anything as she drag Summer over to Ben and Keith. They were about to say something until they saw Summer in shock.

"This is serious " Keith comment still recovering from his shock.

"I can't believe it came to this" Ben murmurs looks at Summer with sadness in his eyes.

Summer remain silent keeping her eyes glued to the ground.

"Summer tell us what is happening and maybe we could stop this" Keith states look at his friend.

"Summer its alright " Ben pull Summer up the ground and hugs her tightly. Summer was surprise of this action ,but quickly recovers. She rest her head on Ben's shoulder and letting the tears fall "We're here for you" Ben rub the girl's back trying to calm down the shaking girl.

"Why are you doing this?" Summer choke looking at Ben with her red stained face.

"Because we're your friends and friends help each other" Ben kiss Summer forehead.
