Lost friends

Hi, my name is Ella Goldberg. I have black hair, dark brown eyes, and light freckles. I'm from Washington Port Orchard. My best friend is Maria Stevens, she lives in Belfair Tahuya. We've been friends from the start of 6th grade and to the end of 10th grade. This is how it all started.

It was Ella's first day of school. She had made a friend named Jessica in her 2rd-period class about two hours ago. She and Jessica hung out at lunch and the end of lunch they had to line up against the wall to go down a hall to their next class. It would take about 5 minutes for the teachers to let them roam in the halls, so Jess and Ella just stayed against the wall talking. Jess grabbed Ella's arm and took her to another girl. This girl had pale skin with brown long hair that was up in a ponytail, she had deep blue squinty eyes and freckles that we're everywhere on her face.

"Ella meet Maria, Maria meet Ella," Jess smiled.

Maria looked at Ella and smiled.

"Hi, Ella!" Maria grabbed Ella's hand and shook it.

"Hello, Maria" Ella replied while being quite terrified of Maria.

"How's life being new here?" Maria asked.

"It's okay," Ella replied

Maria started making jokes and Ella was quite terrified of how open Maria was to Ella. Ella thought of Maria as chaotic and crazy at that moment they met.

After that day they hung out at lunch and in the only class they had together, it was an English class. They would always drift off but sometimes they would be buddies, it was a weird quite toxic friendship you can day. But one day a virus has been going around called 'Covid-20'. It ended up shutting down the school that they hung out in and their friendship had drifted off. They would talk on Snapchat every once in and a while.

Then, one day Ella needed someone to talk to and she decided to call Maria and they talked about life and situations.

"Yeah, my ex is so toxic dude it's so annoying and hurtful my guy," Ella said.

"I bet, man. My girlfriend has been ignoring me these past days and it's annoying too" Maria replied.

"Welp, we're going through a life crisis" Ella laughed.

Maria started laughing with Ella "Yeah,"

They started to understand each other for the first time. Maria found out that Ella is addicted to candles, her cat, Reddie, etc. Maria also found out what her aesthetic was, it was retro/indie.

Ella and Maria started to ft like every week or so to almost every day. They had so much to talk about.

"Bro!" Maria said.

"What, my guy?" Ella said.

"I and Evelyn broke up and she broke up with me by sending a message in Spanish," Maria rolled her eyes and started laughing.

"Oh my gosh!" Ella started laughing.

Maria was wheezing.

"I'm kinda happy it's over! She kept neglecting me whenever I texted her," Maria said as she laughed.

Ella was also single and finally got out of a relationship with her toxic ex.
